Leadership Sample Favorites- Part One

I love the petal cone done in the Cherry Blossom DSP (OCM), I especially like how she wove the ribbon through the petal cone top.
The pillow box in Vintage Springtime DSP with a little love on top

Check out the Sew Suite Series-this would be so cool to send to a friend you know that sews and crafts!

This is my favorite card from convention and it was given to me by my roomie Jeannine Tarrio
www.JeanStamps.com
Stamp Set: Build a Blossom & coordinating punch, Because I Care stamp set
NEW Tulip embossing folder, shimmer, and antique brads.
Just beautiful!! This is the winner of all the swaps I received and I got to know the creator pretty well and she is an awesome and amazingly talented lady!

I am so glad I got to see some spinner cards up close they are too cute.

We received some FREE beveled window panes and they are pretty cool! I have had fun playing with them and exploring some of these ideas from the display boards at convention.

I cannot believe how many ways you can use a Petal
Cone Die Cut!! If you have thought about getting it but have hesitated , WAIT no more.
There are so many different ideas and projects you can do with it -it is INCREDIBLE and FUN!
Speaking of FUN... How about the FUN FLOWERS DIE CUT?? If that is on your list it is a must have. Again it is so multi purposed. We will have fun in my Big shot clubs using these wonderful new editions to our SU collection!
I spied this name tag on someones new bag we received at Leadership and had to give you a gander at it! It is the red glimmer paper with a glimmer owl, HOO! HOO! too cute for you!

One of My Favorite Leadership Memories

We are all waiting in line for the Buses to come and pick us up for Manager's reception with our spiffy Cowgirl Hats on which by the way had about a yard of Striped 1 1/4 inch grosgrain ribbon and 6-8 vintage brads wrapped around it branding it with Stampin' Up!'s unique touch when I spyed one my Stampin' Up! hero's Kimberly Van Dipen (www.stampinbythesea.com) who is also the #1 demonstrator in the U.S. So as am acting like a teenager seeing a rock star my upline Lisa hollars "Kimberly you have a fan "
and then I was blessed to get a picture with her. I love her blog and creativity but most of all she inspires me to keep moving forward no matter what challenges her business encounters.
She has been a demo for 7 years and during that time moved 5 times as a military wife and had to restart her business and still remained in the top demo's in the company. That is my definition of perseverance and alot of recruiting!
She was very down to earth and sweet to take time to get a picture with a sister demo
She also did a WOW presentation on Friday night that was awesome. I had to come home and try it out. I love the way it turned out, I will post it in a later post.

I love this project she demonstrated so easy! But yet such a big WOW! She is the queen of vintage. Which is my favorites style these days.
This is the top of an adorable box she decorated.

Here is a view of the front

This was a scrapbook page on her display board I thought captured her personality and her creativity all wrapped into one.
If you have not had a chance to attend a Stampin' Up! event before, it is an amazing experience.
If you would like to experience the energy and the greatest group of passionate stampers and crafters in the nation consider becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and you to can join the fun!

Technique Class Projects -cont'd

Sandra and Deb Forguson enjoyed our technique class
as we started out on NEW Occasions series!

I got this sketch from the Saturday 411 Operators using the Love Impressions DSP and the DSP from the Filled with Love Bundle.
Card: 5 1/2 x 51/2 base whisper white
CS: Ridinghood Red, White, Gray
Stamps: Word Play (IBC), Valentine Defined (OCM pg. 9 #121941 $26.95)
Ribbon: White Satin ribbon
Techniques:Stamped the heart with cherry cobbler craft ink and heat embossed with irr.ice cut out the heart and then punched out a gray Full Heart punch put it on a dimensional for a little 3D effect. Heat embossed the sentiment from Word Play in black craft ink and black EP
Now when you have a top heavy card you must really gussy up the inside of the card to even the weight or it will topple over...ask me how I know???LOL
so I used my Scallop envelope die cut and made an envelope used DSP on the lip trace it and trimmed it to fit. Then I cut out a glitter heart with my heart

I absolutely love this technique with scrunching the ribbon. You just apply sticky strip to the back of satin ribbon and fold it back and forth. then do the duck tail dance when you cut your ribbon and your good! (I taught my customers a lil dance to help them remember how to cut their ribbon this way, one actually admitted to doing it at home while stamping and I think her husband caught her, I bet she had fun explaining that technique! LOL We have so much fun!
Love this case from Mary Fish at www.stampinpretty.com
New Occasions:
Nature Walk stamp set, Botanical Gazette DSP, Cherry Cobbler, Espresso,Old Olive
and a pack of Vintage brads and you are good to go!
Sentiment is from Elements of Style.

Eat Chocolate (OCM) pg. #30-121931 $17.95
CS: Basic Gray, Ridinghood Red, Whisper White
DP: Love Impressions, Red Glimmer Paper (OCM pg.7 $3.95)
Heat Embossing: Iridescent ice EP, heat tool, embossing buddy
Ribbon: 1/4: white grosgrain, red corduroy buttons
Punches:Decorative Label (OCM) pg. 30#$120907
I LOVE the NEW Blossom Petals Punch
I use it for so many different sentiments

See the cute little drawer you pull it right out and it is filled with goodies!

The New Eat Chocolate set is perfect for all of little treats!
I used the glitter paper with the hearts embosslit and stamped the sentiment and popped it out with the Blossoms punch in Ridinghood Red ink
