Whitney's Stampin Studio: Serenity Stamper's Team Inspiration Meeting

Whitney's Stampin Studio: Serenity Stamper's Team Inspiration Meeting

Inspiration Meeting Part 2

Our table was set for the meeting with all the bells & whistles!
The Theme of our team meeting was
"Change + Grow= Ingredients to Convention"
Everyone received one of the change jars below to fill and refill until they have saved enough money for convention next year!!

Attending convention with my team is my goal for this year
and I hope to help each one achieve that goal that would like to go!

I will be vacationing in Salt Lake city, Utah at the end of October and will be touring the SU home office. Needless to say I am extremely excited.

SU Convention " The BIG SHOW" I like to call it is held there every year in July.
We also hope to visit the stamp distribution center in Kanab which is about a 2 hour drive from SLC.
So I plan to scope it out and get the lay of the land for our trip in July 2012.

This is our display table with tons of samples to inspire and rejuvenate our creative juices.

Close up of the change jar each team member in attendance received a jar to start their journey to Convention 2012
Not only does it take the fiscal change but also a change in the way we look at our business opportunity. Want to to go to convention. Join our team today!
Sitting pretty on the NEW Simply Scored Tool from SU
This was one of the make & takes we did. Love the new stocking die !
This one opens as a card and we used the new pewter embossing powder, the mini jingle bells, pizazz seam binding, the silver glitter paper for the top and the toes and heels.
Here is the inside of the card
which opens where you can put the sentiment of your choice inside.

Gently Falling stamp set in the HMC is my favorite set right now, I love the diversity of this set. You can do some two step stamping, resist emboss as we did in this card, with sponging and many other techniques. Look for more to come with this set in upcoming classes.
Accessories:
Gently Falling stamp set & French Foliage
Pool Party CS,More Mustard, Spice Cake DSP, Vanilla, soft suede
Same ink, spritzer tool, distressor tool, spice cake fabric, white embossing powder, sponging,
I love this vintage shabby chic look!

Naughty or Nice Memories Class

We enjoyed a little Naught & Nice
with the Letter to Santa Designer Series Paper along with the coordinating Quick Accents
in our Scrap Tin class on Sunday.
This is my favorite project and class to share with stamping & scrapping friends!
Below are some of my favorite shots from the class.

Valerie Chambers has an amazing passion for Stampin' Up and crafting.
She is also a very talented poet.

Front cover of the tin

This was my sample and I was truly very happy with how it turned out.
This is going right on my coffee table so all me guests can check out our family photos.
I am also making one for my Mom and Dad's wedding anniversary photos,
they make great gifts as well.

Creative mind at work!
Love seeing everyone adding their own spin to their tin,
sharing ideas is the best part of gathering together
Miss Kathy & Diana hard at work.
This is a picture of my hubby Scott & I.
This is one of my favorite pages using the NEW Peek a Boo Frames available on September 1st.

with every aspect of crafting,& it is fabulous for the scrap tins and mini albums.

The Milk Carton Challenge

Our stamp group has been together quite a long time and I absolutely love how everyone helps each other and when we have a new member join us someone always takes them under their wing and makes them feel comfortable. Our new member Miss Kathy is amazing!
She is very talented and I feel so blessed that she chose to join our group.
This our class where we made the milk carton you saw in my last post.
A few ppl feel apprehensive when it comes to the milk carton, but together we sweep away the anxiety and help each other.

Deb & Becky showing off their Milk Carton boxes. it was a popular project once they saw how easy it really was . I had made all the mistakes already when I first made so I was able to share those with them so they would not have to experience the frustration.

Sandra is giving Deb Brown the thumbs up as she finishes her project and displays
it beautifully as always.
I love my job, teaching and sharing with others my endeavors in crafting.
God has blessed me immensely with this wonderful group of friends.
