Our new " Occasion's To Die For" Scrap Book club
kicked off it's first meeting with a bang!
I have to say I had so much fun scrapping and getting some of my vacation pages done in the process! I haven't scrapped in a while and boy it brought those creative juices flowing back.
What I love about Scrappin' Stampin' Up! style they make it is so easy!!
Everything coordinates- colors combos-embellishments and I love how our Sizzix products make amazing cropping & matting tools. did I mention our punches? They make picture cropping a cinch.

Apothecary Memories

This is one of the cards we made at technique class.
For the sentiments we used the stamp set Loving thoughts which has
a wide array of sentiments to choose from.
When I saw the memories stamp I had a thought.
This would make a great card to send a picture inside using the Label Framelits!

Where do I begin with all the products and techniques....

Card Base: 5 1/2 x11 scored at 4- 1/4
Island Indigo: 5 1/4 x 4

Using the edgelits I decorated the inside of the card and using the label framelits I cut out a picture from our vacation to Utah.

Frame Lit It

I have been creating up a storm with

I cased this pattern from Stampin' Pretty by Mary Fish
You have 3 notes cards, 3 Hershey's wrapped nuggets in the middle and your envelopes in a box with an acetate wrapper that just slides right over it.

This one highlights the Everyday Enchantment DSP which can you tell I LOVE!

Tea for Two

I love the new stamp set Tea Shopppe in the Occasions Mini catalog.
This is one of the cards we did at my New Year's Day stamp camp. I cased it from SC from Running with Scissors.
Accessories:
Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper from the OMC, Soft Suede, Blushing Bride CS
Where the soft suede DSP is we used sticky strip on the sides and made it into a little pocket to hold the tea bag.
Big Shot: We used the Sizzlit Doily die and trimmed it down to a smaller scallop.
Love the doily it is very versatile! You can make different size s with it.
The Twinings tea bags in yellow (I have no idea what kind of tea it is,) they just matched perfectly to the colors in the DSP.LOL

I was born and raised in the country and our porch was a place where our family gathered in chairs like these. We talked about everything and some of my fondest memories are on that porch. My Mom , Mema and I used to drink tea and talk for hours.
Grant you we are from the south and it was SWEET ICE TEA, but what the Whoo!
So when this stamp set first came out I was really drawn to it.
I like using it for I miss you cards too. The two empty seats and a little I miss you tag! Too cute!!

Elf Shoes Christmas Card

from Becky Roberts with a few little changes to mine.
This is the card I gave my hubby this year, since he always has big elf shoes to fill!
She had a great tutorial, it amazes me the cards we come up with using our dies&punches!!
this one requires the top note ,ornament punch and the 3/4 inch circle punch.
Stamp Set is Holiday Hand Penned from the HMC! This is one of the sets I used the most this during the Holidays.
There is still time to get it- HMC catalog is still available through Jan 3rd!
