I am always looking for unique ways to surprise my kids with cashola for Christmas!
Once they get to a certain age money and gift cards are a welcomed delight. This box was inspired by a tissue box that I saw on my friend Deb Brown's Pinterest board.
So I put my thinking cap on and decided the Stampin' Up! kraft boxes would be perfect for this project and
NOW they are 25% off on the Online Extravaganza!
Supplies: One SU kraft box, Wrapped the box with 2- 3/8 x12 Snow festival DSP around,
then I put a 2 3/8x3 piece on the back panel to cover up where the DSP did not go all the way around the box. I used scor-tape to make sure it was nice and tight. I cut a piece of 3- 3/8 x 3 -3/8 for the top adhere all the DSP on the box before U punch the top out.
Stamps:No Peeking stamp set,
Big Shot:Window Framelits
Other: Wide oval punch, Rose Red ribbon(retired), Primrose petals, black ink and a little paper piecing.
I used the word window punch to make the whole in the top of the box for the money to pull out of. I punched it one full time and then about 3/4 another punch.
As for the money I just folded the bills and used glue dots to connect them and then the final bill I glue dotted to the bottom of the inside of the box.
Hope these directions help! Have fun. I would love to see what you come up with!
