INK: Espresso, Cherry,Crumb Cake
Beveled Glass, Espresso 1/8 tafetta, Victoria Chrocet, Cherry cobbler seam binding

Gate Fold Owl Card
Use Scallop oval die cut in Woodland Park DSP which looks like tree bark, with the Wasabi CS tree around latticed. Then stamp your owl in Punch Bunch on white CS in Espresso sit it on a black knot( 1 3/4 inch circle punch) on the tree and use your bird punch to have a branch for the owl to sit on. Add googly eyes.
Adhere the scallop on the top and the oval on the bottom so it pulls apart like below.

Add sentiment of your choice

Mom is Queen!

Before any class the way I pick what we are going to do is I make up samples and I sit them on my kitchen counter. I look at them when I walk by and if they make me smile then those are the projects we usually end up doing. Boy did this card ever make me smile and I am still smiling!! Love it!!
It is a Box Arm Card
I have saw a few versions on SC, I just tweaked mine to fit Mother's Day theme.
And I wanted to add the Easel butterfly turned magnet bookmark onto one arm of the card.

Supplies:
Springtime Vintage DSP, Pear Pizazz, Marina Mist, Baha
Stamps: Artistic Etchings, Messages for Mom,Blessed Mother, Four Frames, Perfect Punches
Punches: Pinking hearts border, decorative label, scallop oval, medium oval, 1 1/4 circle for crown
Big shot: Butterfly die, Petal cone banner, elegant line e-folder
Inks: Marina, Pear
Ribbons: Pear seam binding & Vanilla Satin

I stamped the base using a stamp from Four Frames in the Marina Mist then I touch the outer rim of the stamp "thanks" in Perfect Punches stamp set and that, then stamped my sentiment and popped it out with the scallop oval punch.

These are the Butterflies we made in my last post

We turned them into magnet bookmarks that can detach off the card using velcro
and your MOM gets a bookmark too!

Now finding magnets that work really well with project was a chore.

I could not believe it either this card collaspes and folds up & fits into a A2 envelope

Serenity Stamper's March Inspiration Meeting

At our Inspiration meeting we talk a little business and then we get down to stamping and crafting!
This is an easel 3 D butterfly made with
the Exclusive Stampin' Up! Sizzix Butterfly die,
two of my friends Lynn & Yolie then had an awesome idea and turned it into a magnet book mark.

At Orlando Regional's one of the workshop Wow's was using the Build a Blossom stamp set that was used to create "FISH"-
"I am so humbled by the creativity of others"
for the life of me I can't find the name of the demo who did this but of course she was from Central Florida! the key to the fish are the Rhinestone eyes, now this card has ALOT of BLING!! Make sure to add your rhinestones prior to the embossing it w/ the ice. They WILL NOT STICK after you emboss it. Ask me how I know??? LOL

Here is a close up view- the technique used- take a stampin spot I used melon mambo, old olive, and tempting turquoise spots added a couple drops of the Frost Shimmer Paint with a eye dropper to the Stampin Spots
and Viola' you have a FROSTY fish.
I also added Versamark all over the top of the white CS and embossed it with Iridescent Ice. It looks so beautiful up close!
Stamps: Build a Blossom & the flowery grass is from "Just Believe"

I was so excited when I saw this Nautical Expedition Suite in the
NEW Summer Mini that will launch on May 1st.
Since we live near the Sea in Daytona Beach this is perfect for us.
Personally, my husband is originally from New England and we had our honeymoon there. I can not wait to scrapbook those pictures in this Series.
This card will be highlighted in an upcoming event my Serenity Stamper's team will be doing on May 7th for
"The Queen For a Day Event"
Stamp Set: Sail Away
DSP: Nautical Expedition

Telescope Birthday Card

This is what the card looks like when they get it.
I haven't been this excited about a card technique in a long time. I cased this card technique from SC and I have gone slap crazy making these. You have to have every darn circle and scallop die there is but BOY they are fun!! Took some to Regional's in Orlando for swaps. show ya that one next, but this is my favorite.

Then when they pull the ribbon loop at the top it falls out like a telescope hence the Telescope card! LOL

Supplies:
Bottom to top:Clear scallop circle, 3 1/2 inch circle, 3 inch circle die cuts,
2 1/2 circle punch
Middle: Birthday cupcake bottom sizzlit, petal cone top, #2 scallop peach parfait, 3 inch circle die,
Top: #2 scallop die cut , 2 1/2 inch circle punch, fancy flower Punch
Stamps: Afterthoughts(Level one Hostess set IBC),Bring on the Cake(OCM, pg.20)
Cs: melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Peach Parfait,Daffodil Delight,
Ice Cream Parlor SAB DSP,
Hope you like it!!
