Love Stories Embossed Scrap/Journal Tin

I love this Simply Scrappin ' Kit from Stampin' Up! Only $19.95!!
Stampin' Up! makes it so easy to color coordinate and make the most beautiful pages.
Each kit comes with 8 sheets of 4 different colored textured card stock and 9 sheets of Designer double-sided paper that coordinates beautifully with the 3 sheets of three different designs of die cut adhesives to embellish with. Everything matches!! No more trolling the aisles of local craft stores trying to match up colors and then get home and have no idea where to start.
SU's kit also comes with a awesome idea sheet with tons of ideas and samples
The thing that attracted me the most to Stampin' Up! w
when I decided to become a demonstrator was that all the ink pads, card stock, designer paper and accessories (like my favorite accessory ribbon all match from the all different color families and then"In Colors" which are the trend colors for the year. You have it ALL covered!!
I had so much fun making this tin, I don't want to sell it at my craft sale now! LOL
I need one for myself! It would make a great tin for my wedding pictures!
But never fail because I made 3 of them.
I love the new scrap pages on one side and journal on the other!!
This tin was metal embossed with Baroque Motiff ( a must have stamp set pg. 120$25.95)
and "Together Forever" Stamp Set (page 57) $20.95

Inside tin ( I got the cool note pads which are 5x8 at Walmart 3pads for $2.97)
It matched so great, I couldn't believe it!

Closer look at some of the pages, sorry little blurry.
I have a new video camera that does still shots on my Christmas wish list.
I want to start doing some video tutorials, couple of my down line will be out of state and I would like so much for them to be able to stay connected!

We also made tons of the brag books from this one scrap kit we got
2 scrap journal tins, one full scrap tin and 4 brag books!!

Let me know what you think!

Recipe Book Stamp Camp

This is the cover to my Bella Rose recipe book which I am making for someone very special for Christmas. I enjoyed this class so much. Although when your hosting the class you
rarely get finished with yours so I have a little more work to do but I love the cover on this one.

This is the first page stamped with "From the Kitchen" stamp set and I used my scallop edge punch to make a border around my pages. They were just to square and plain. So I have embellishing left to do, but this is it so far.

Wendy LeValley and Sylvia Cullio making their Recipe Books

Front Cover of Sylvia's recipe book in the Haku Designer paper!

This picture does not do it justice. I love this paper for the recipe book it flows very well though out the book. We used the Apron and Mitt Big EZ die w/ big shot to make the apron and mitt with chipboard behind it. I love embellishment and attention to detail!

Here is a shot of one of the pages on the inside of the Haku recipe book.

This is Wendy Green Tea Recipe Book!

Wendy finally got to attend a class and relax and have fun today
and do it her way! She is an a Super Stamper and crafter!
I am going to miss her so much when she moves to Korea.
She made 3 books yesterday in the time it took us to do one!

**Everyone seemed to enjoy making the recipe books. I love watching people create in an open forum and share ideas and help each other to try new things and go outside of their comfort box.
These are excellent Christmas gifts. We will be selling these at the craft fair as well.

Goodbye Gypsy Crafter

This is me and my friend Kim Porter, a fellow demonstrator in Hawiian Ink .
We are at a little going away dinner for her. She and her husband Paco and their two girls are moving to Pananma City with the military. Kim is an amzing crafter. Just in the short time I have known her I have learned so many cool techniques. But most of all I have found another wonderful friend. That is what I have to say I love the most about Stampin' Up! is that since I became a demonstrator I have met so many wonderful people and all though we may all be alittle crazy for the hours we spend doing what we love and fussing over the littlest of details, at heart of most every demonstrator you will find that their is an incredible heart and a sense of fellowship that I thank God for everyday that I am blessed to be a part of this group.
Below is our fearless leader Lisa Curcio and Alice Hancock the queen of WOW! who joined us that evening among others to help send Kim off with all the love and suport to know that we are behind her as she moves to Pananma City and begins her business there!
Lisa Curcio (our fearless leader) and Alice Hancock (The Queen of Wow!)

This is the scrap/ journal tin I embossed for Kim, with Baroque Motiff and The My Kind and Dear Wonderful Friend stamp from "All Holidays Stamp Set. The belly band is with Georgia Peach paper and embossed with silver on the middle with Dreams De Jour. The Big Scallop is from my new Siz die ran through the BIG SHOT, love that thing. I was very happy with the way this tin turned out every stamp on here is a combo of my favorites!

I made this one one half scrap tin and journal tin. What do you think?
Well ,although Kim may not be here physically at out group meetings, I know we will definately feel her spirit among us and miss her little hicups! Check out her blog at http://www.gypsycrafter.com/
Good luck Gypsy Crafter, you will be amazing where ever you go and
remember you can always come home!

A Creative Day for A Mother and Child

Ruthie's birhtday invitation and party favor box
Shelly and Ruthie

Stampin' Up! Girls busy at work!

My friend Shelly asked me to do a Stampin' Up! Birthday Party for her daughter Ruthie who will be turning nine this year. We will be having atleast 10 9 year old little girls and Mom would love to just enjoy being the hostess with the mostess and leave the party details up to Stampin' Up!

So today we got together and made Ruthie's invitations and party favor boxes. Girls, I want to tell you I have never met such an extremely talented, creative and well mannered young lady than Ruthie. She was an absolute pleasure and believe me when I say Ruthie made her own invitations! She was so quick with her parts of the projects Shelly and I could barley keep up!

Ruthie is a future Stampin' Up! Rising Star Demonstrator. She told me that she had a dream about Sandra Lee the night before. Some fellow is going to be extremely lucky one day. But, I know one mother who is incredibly blessed and Shelly knows it! Seeing the two of them work together and create their own invitations and favors made me remember why I do this, sharing what I love with others. Yesterday was a blessing and I am so grateful that I got to be the lucky demonstrator who gets to work with Ruthie on her party! Thanks, Ruthie and Shelly for a wonderful day! Here are a couple of photo's of the projects in action . You revitalized me and gave the inspiration I needed to finish prepartion for my upcoming craft fairs!

Brentwood Hills Craft Fair

Me at the Brent wood Hills Craft Fair Staturday November 8th!

Scrapbbok Tins, Journal Tins and Candy tins are all hot items this year!

This is my card spindle which I bought off a local craft store. It had three tiers to it and my husband took out the third tier and made a table topper for me with the other section. It is so wonderful to have such a handy supportive husband. The other hanging sections with the candy tins in it are racks that my friend Diana picked up at Jo'Anns in Temple Terrace for a couple of bucks when they were going out of business. I couldn't believe how good that worked out! What a space saver up and off the table.

Check out my little Christmas tree ( found it at Beall's for $12.99, it even has lights) with the Christmas ornaments on them! There's my table top card spindle.

Here is the gift box sets and all the stocking fillers!

Brentwood Hills Craft Fair
Hope you enjoyed the photos from the craft fair I went to yesterday!
Traffic was pretty slow compared to last year, but it was a great opportunity
for me to practice my set up for the next two larger craft fairs I have coming up this month!
All of these items are on sale right now in my craft store. Feel free to stop by and browse around.
I met some really great fellow crafters yesterday! Looking forward to seeing them again at other events! I have to say thanks to my friend Wendy, who without her help
none of this would be possible. Also, my good buddy Diana came and hung out with me too.
Diana is a wonderful friend to have you can always count on her. She will doing a craft fair in Temple Terrace next weekend. I will give you the details when I get them!

Punch Pal's on Acetate

I think this is my favorite Christmas card yet! It was inspired and totally cased except for the base color from my friend Sylvia Cuillo who gave it to me as a swap at our last group meeting!
I rushed home and made 20 of them in various colors for my craft fairs!!
I stamped on the acetate with White Stazon with the snowflakes from
The Winter Post and Snow Swirled stamp sets! On the outside of the card is white craft ink the Stazon is too light for that pop that your looking for on the outside!
Hope you like it! I sure did! Sylvia's swap was amazing!

Thanksgiving Faux Silk Card

We made this card this weekend at my crop class!

I used a retired stamp set, from the Country Living promotion a couple years back.

I love this set, I can't make myself get rid of it!

We learned this technique at our annual Hawaiian Ink group meeting last weekend!

We will be learning this technique at our Christmas card classes in December!!
I am making a few of these to sell at my craft fairs!

A Very Special Thank You!

I did The local Buckler Craft Fair back in August of this year. I met his girl who had that crazy look in her eye that I recognized immediately when she walked up to my booth. She had won a gift certificate from the craft fair for $20.00 and she could spend it anywhere she wanted to in the whole craft fair. She came walking up, with her eyes all lit up, they were sparkling like only a lady who knows the joy of stamping, crafting and scrap booking could! Yes, she had the look! I was very busy, but I new she would be back. She looked all around the fair and came back and spent her $20.00 with me and signed up for one of my Scrapbook DVD tin classes. She came to class and girlfriend was decked out in the latest designer scrappin gear! If we had been in a mall she would have been the "Coach Store" okay? MY other ladies, who were kinda of just getting their feet wet said, "this girl is SERIOUS about all this business." Well ladies, let me tell you this young lady has turned out to be an amazing stamper and crafter! She has been helping daily prepare all my projects for the upcoming event s that I have, plus she is of course now in training for becoming a demonstrator!(Remember, I told ya the look in the eye). I could have never been able to produce this much in this period of time without her. I am doing The Buckler Craft Fair Thanksgiving Weekend and have been able 2 add in 2 more craft fairs before that thanks to her help!! The girl has" mad skills" we like to say! She is getting ready to move and join her husband in Korea(he is in the military) and I am going to miss her so much!! But she is definitely going to be taking Stampin' UP! to Korea, that is if she can pass her color chart test before she goes!! LOL
Wendy, thank you for all your hard work and most of all for your friendship! That is what I love the most about SU is all the wonderful people I have met through my journey as a demonstrator.

Christmas Ornaments

All these Christmas ornaments (Round coasters from your local restaurant) were made by my friend Wendy and I for my upcoming craft fairs! They turned out so cute. Using our cutting system we just cut out Ski SlopeDesigner Christmas DP along with Red Rider DP and matching colored Cardstock for the back. Then we took some of the On Board Something Seasonal chipboard on the back and embossed it in gold or silver so they could slip a little picture in.So they could use them as gift tags that turn into ornaments for their tree!
What do ya think? Bless Wendy's heart she is getting a major crash course in embossing!!
