Thougths and Prayer Cards

I cased this card from my blogger buddy Laurie see her card here http://stampingupnorthwithlaurie.blogspot.com/ , I changed my colors but left everything else pretty much the same because it is just perfect the way it is!

Directions:
Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Cameo Coral,Whisper white
Stamp Set: Thoughts and Prayers
Dimensions: Base Kiwi: 4 1/4 x 11 score at 5
Cameo coral: 4 3/4x 3-1/2
Whisper white: 3 1/4 x 4
Assembly:
I used various CB embossing folders on the cardstock to add dimension to the card.
  1. Use the Ovals Die cut to create the focal ovals cameo base (large oval)
  2. Die Cut White oval(medium oval)
  3. Use the eyelet border punch for bottom of the focal cut white cs 1x 3 3 1/4

  4. Use the SU little leaves embosslit to cut the leaves adhere under the ovals with a glue dot

  5. Use your cameo and old olive markers on the flowers ( stamp off first) on the Thoughts & Prayers stamp on the white oval and then stamp your choice of sentiment on top with classic basic black ink.

  6. Adhere the ovals with dimensionals on top as the focal point

  7. Punch out cameo little flowers with the Boho punch, and use your paper piercer to poke a hole in the middle and add the brad of your choice and apply with a dimensional.

Raspberry Tart Flip Scrap Album

This is my flip scrap album! It was a challenge I received from a friend. She saw it on SCS and we couldn't find the directions. So I had to look at it and figure it out! I can't believe I figured it out! The one on SCS was made by Sharp Stamper. If you would like to see her sample go to SCS and search Sharp Stamper and you will find her gallery.
This looks very intimidating but really its much simpler than it looks!
This flip book gives you so many pages and different options for your pictures!
They are so fun to decorate and mix and match your DP!
Remember right now is the perfect time to get all the Designer Paper you have been wanting with the promo Buy 3 get one FREE! Promo ends May 31st!!
inside cover of the front
The little scallop envelope can be used to put journal pieces in.
outside of the first insert

This is the opening of the first insert which gives you 3",6" & 3"
I used the eyelet border punch and match box die labels and oval punches

This is a shot of the panels on the outside of the insert .The flower is from Baskets and Blooms and two small ovals that have been crimpedfor the leaves.

This is the second insert
I love this one, it is my favorite in the book!

This is the back of the second insert and the back cover.
I decorated it and left it generic because whoever gets it can customize it and make it their own when they add their pictures! Great craft sale item!

This is the outside of the flip book on the back end.
This is one of the new Sizzix Square Scallop clear die cuts I got at The Orlando Scapbook Expo!
For decorating my album I used alot of the label die cuts from the match box die, photo corners punch, scallop oval punch from the mini and the Daisy die! These are absolutely must have die cuts and punches fro Scrapbooking and Card making!
I hope you enjoy this, let me know what you think?

Rainy Day Creations

So have you noticed if your like me and our house when we refer to colors they are always in Stampin' Up terminology? Oh I saw the most beautiful Old Olive colored shirt today....LOL!
anyway, I was in Staples getting ink cartridges again!! I spotted them way across the aisle

the dry erase boards in Kiwi Kiss and Baha Breeze and the closer I got , YES! they were on CLEARANCE! $3.88. so today I was looking at them wondering what in the world I was going to do with them, I mean at that price and yes bcause they were Kiwi and Baha I had to have them.

anyone relate, like the dollar bin at Target. I have 8 totes of that kind if thinking.

Anyway, I had my rub-ons out and boy I started going to town. They glide on this surface like butter. No mistakes. I think they came out so cute. Great craft sale item. So go buy out your local Staples for $3.88 each and a package of Summer Love rub-ons you can't go wrong!

This is the Baha Breeze one, great for a Friend gift!

This is another one of the mix and match sentiment boxes.
Supplies:
Cardstock:Textured Saffron and Baha, WIP, DP
Textured is more durable and suggested for this project.
Accessories: Sizzix Oval Frame die, Chipboard, DP to cover it, white ep, embossing buddy , heat tool, All Holidays Stamp Set, and in color buttons

CS: Baha and WIP DP
Stamp Set: Central Park, Over AllAccessories: Eyelet border,Matchbox die cut label, medium oval punch,
Bottom of the box with various die cuts labels in matching colors from the matchbox die, stamped sentiments on whisper white cs to mix and match with a dimensional on top.

"Over All "Mix & Match Note Card Gift Boxes

Check out this cool Walk in the Park Box (yes I do own other DP)
However, I have like 4 packs of this! So I am trying to use it up!

Here are a few Note Cards samples made with colored cardstock.
Supplies:
CS: Walk in the Park DP and Basic Gray and whisper white
Accesories: Summer Love Rub-ons, eylet border punch, square scallop, dimensionals

Supplies:

CS: Cameo coral, WIP DP, Baha Breeze, whisper white
Accessories: Match Box die cut, scallop punch, summer love rub-ons, eyelet border punch
CS: Basic Gray, Whisper white, WIP DP
Accessories:Square Scallop punch, Eyelet border punch,Summer Love rub-ons
All of these cards will fit into this box and for an advanced card maker you can also add rub-ons to the kit so they embellish the cards a bit more.

This is an awesome gift for anyone. Below I have created a gift set you can mix and match the sentiments to fit whatever occasion. The box tutorial is from the new category on
the SU Demo website
Home > Show & Tell > Stamping Challenge Ideas. this is an awesome tool to find class planners with all the directions from beginning to end and also pictures! Great tool!

So yet another reason to take advantage of the
$75.00 scrapbook recruit promotion! Become a Serenity Stamper today!

I cased this one like the sample on the SU site but changed the DP, etc.

This is the bottom of the box it measures 8.5x8.5 and the top is 7.5x7.5
6 note cards/envelopes from page 157 in SU catty
Decorate with Designer paper, cardstock and then inside their box you put in several different pre-stamped sentiments and then they put a dimensionals on the back and stick it on! Boom their done, just lick the envelope and go! There is even enough room you could put a matching pentel pen with DP wrapped around the inside of the pen to make it coordinate and throw some postage in there as well.

Card samples of the basic layout.
You could use this one for a workshop and only do one project for
your experienced repeat hostesses and stampers! As a special treat!
It is affordable. Just mix and match your Designer papers keeping the same layout makes it super simple to pop these out. Also makes a great class or Stamp Camp project.

I would love to see your box!

Match Box & Card Box Gift Set

Here is a little match box filled with 4 Hershey wrapped nuggets
in " A Walk in the Park Designer Paper. What I like about this paper is it has two trends to it.
If you are more drawn to blues and grays you got it if you like the lighter/brighter colors they are there too. You can mix and match and get so many different looks with just one pack of paper! Remember right now with the May promtion you can buy 3 packs of DP or textured cardstock and receive the 4th one FREE!!
I like how the sentiment turned out on this box. I used the Sizzix framed oval border and the large oval from the Ovals Sizzix die and the label die from the match box die and embossed it with white Ep with the Stamp Set Sincere Salutations and garnished it with a basic gray corduroy button

Daytona Stamp Studio & Organization

This is a shot of my new workstation !
This will soon be filled with my crafts for sale! Few things left but I sold out big time at my moving craft sale! So I have to get my mojo flowing and get busy!!
I just found an awesome opportunity at the HUGE Daytona Flea Market here in town.
I can rent a little shop in there monthly and hopefully sell some crafts and meet some new frineds!

MY downline and dear friend Vicky had this cool idea and I just had to implement this into organization system. I also have several punches from the sizzix and other punches from projects in bags so that way if I need one I can just grab it and go instead of stopping and having to cut punches. This is one of the best views of my work staition.
I am so happy to have an amazing handy husband that has worked so hard to make it perfect for me. I have to say he is the best and I just love him!!

My curtain rods are from Wal-Mart($14.00 each) I got two of the 28x48 ft black designer rods and stretched it out as far across as it would go.I missed the HUGE grand Opening of IKEA in Tampa which opened the day before I moved!! Then I bought the little black circle clips that actually are suppose to hang curtains and that is what the above items are hanging on. For my bday and Mothers day I got beautiful new formica countertops, I am in heaven!!It is so long I have every station set up!
First My Sizzix, then embossing, then embellishments, scor-pal and then my cutting systems!!

This is the paper station. I have all my 12x12 cardstock in the paper trays under the cabinet.
The DP is in the white 12x12 bins and next to that is my filing cabinet with my 8 1/2 x 11 paper.
On top of that is my scraps in a single filing system. My ribbon racks( are on a peg board system my DH built) and paper tray I bought off my friend Jackie who owns a scrap book store in Brandon. I love those ribbon racks. They are the greatest! Ribbon storage was one of my biggest frustrations!! Tip: Go to your local scrap book stores alot of times they have things they want to get rid of and you can get really good deals. Especially now with the economy alotof stores are cutting back on inventory leaving open spaces!
This is the coolest stool it adjust to your weight when you sit in it. I saw one at my friend Geri's house about 9 months ago and have been looking for one ever since and they had them at Target here only $59.00 if it had wheels it would be perfect. So if you are like me and stand all day this stool will make you want to sit for a while!
Well that is the overview so far!! Looking forward to alot of stamp camp retreats here at the beach!! See ya soon!!

"A Walk in the Park" Array

Now that I have my new stamp studio set and ready to go here in Daytona
I have had some creative time and I just absolutley love this paper.
This box will hold up to 10 cards! Depending of course with the depth of layers and embellishments plus envelopes! These are a popular craft fair item. I sold a ton of these at Mother's day! I gave my MOM one for Mother's Day at my surprise bday party they had for me. All my cousins and aunts wanted their own and of course filled with cards! I was thrilled.
Supplies:
Card stock: Kiwi,WIP DP,cameo coral
Accessories: Eyelet border punch, Sizzix oval frame punch(I only used the oval), Summer Love rub-ons(love these!!) aluminum tags, filigree brads, kiwi kiss 5/8" striped ribbon on top of the box, glue dots, sticky strip a must with this box.

This is a bday card I made for my best friends daughter Gina for her Sweet 16! It's very Late but hey, I like late cards I get to celebrate all over again!
Supplies:
Cardstock: so Saffron, Baha,Cameo Coral, white,WIP DP,
Accessories: Sizzix large Circle Scallop die, cut in half, layered with the circle #2 sizzix Die cut in 1/2 , with summer love rub-ons, photo corner punch, eyelet border punch, white gel pen,in color buttons, and Saffron Twill ribbon andalso I used the Bella Toile BG stamp on the base of the card.I hope she likes it. She is a very special girl who is getting ready to go on a missions trip the summer to Peru. I wish her much love and safe travels.

Candy tin with the rules of chocolate always a favorite! I always have to make in every new DP !
