Craft Store at the Daytona Flea Market

In May my husband came home and said those words a mother never wants to hear with a teenager going into their Jr. year and a sweet boyfriend.
Realizing I was going to have to leave a wonderful group of friends,
customers, sideline and downline.
"I am being transferred to Daytona Beach and we have 2 weeks to get there!"
As we started getting acclimated to the area I found there were not too many Stampin' Up demonstrators in the area, (like at home) and only one scrap shop everyone else had gone out of business! I thought WOW this is an incredible opportunity!
So one day we were exploring the city and visited the flea market and I noticed there was no one there that did what I do. Make paper crafts and travel around to craft shows.I am tired of traveling I wanted a stationary craft booth.
So I considered two things I can sell my crafts and what a great way to get connected with other paper crafters, those who are familiar with Stampin' UP! and those who aren't.
I was concerned that since we are not able to keep product on hand and that may be a problem
but once people see the quality of my crafts handmade from Stampin' Up! products they are willing to wait for an order to come in. I found impulsive buyers are usually the ones who end up with that stack of stuff in the closet and don't know what to do with it. Having someone to teach them techniques and to be able to attend a class is very appealing to locals.
Daytona's Flea Market is rated 5th in the Nation and I can't believe all the Stampin' Up! club members from groups with other demonstrators I meet and those that aren't familiar with SU I send home to look up a demo in there area. It is such a cool thing!
They love the concept of Stampin' UP!
In home workshops, classes, stamp camps but most of what I hear is
"I have so much of that stuff and I have no idea how to use it!!"
MY response" Stampin' UP! offers a creative coach for you to introduce you to every product you order! What other company does that? Plus I will help you figure out what to do with what you do have!!
Honestly like anything it is the perseverance that my upline Lisa instilled in
me from the day one that has helped me to hang in there.
Now I am getting repeat customers, meeting out of state customers who are ordering online and buying crafts. But still the best thing about being a Stampin' UP! demonstrator is the wonderful people that I meet along the way.
I love my job and sharing it with others!
Come visit MY FREE OPEN HOUSE on OCTOBER 17TH FROM 3PM-7PM

Breast Cancer Crop Fundraiser in Daytona

Dana Allen was our host for the Breast Cancer Crop Fundraiser. I have to say I am so grateful to have met her. I was signing up for Girl Scouts for my 8 year old daughter Ansleigh, and she can smell a paper crafter a mile a way its that 6th sense we all have. She so graciously invited me to join them at the event. I was thrilled!! Dana is an amazing lady she has been a girl scout leader for 27 years and is very involved in Breast Cancer Awareness! She together with the gang at the crop raised over $1000.00 for Breast Cancer Awareness that day!
her dedication and commitment to our children, to us as parents helping to preserve those their childhood memories and she has the greatest personality, what a pleasure. This was a true success and I hope I am invited back next year!
Thanks, Dana for all your hard work!!
Mary Ann from our local " A Page in Time" Scrap book Shop on Beach Street taught a box with
Rolodex cards with calendars on them, they were too cute!! Sorry I don't have apicture of a final project!

Lora Shehi enjoying a Stampin' UP! make and take

This is her final project isn't it beautiful. The make and take was designed to show how using cards from card class can inspire focal points to your scrap book pages. I will post examples of mine next, that inspired me to design this at a make and take at a crop.
Lora is very creative and a natural. She has well balanced flow and design!
Thanks Lora for joining the Stampin' Up! make and takes group that day and your order!

NEW! White & Black Flip Scrapbook Album

This DSP is the NEW Black& White specialty paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog!

Page # 11 $11.95 this elegant a paper cmes with 2 each of 5 designs and two printed window sheets with blacks polka dots on it! Awesome, and so fun to experiment with.

The front is adorned with a black top note and the sentiment is embossed with silver using Encore metallic ink which gives it such a deeper pop than versamark.
(This is my favorite design in this array of designer paper.)
This flip album is perfect for 4x6 pictures.

This project takes 2 12x12 sheets of colored cs and 3 DP
along with about 12-14 inches of ribbon .

There are 9 flaps that are matted with designer paper measuring 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 .
Plenty of room for some nice size pictures.
Black and White pictures look awesome with this paper.
Then the two inserts that are in the middle have flaps(2 1/4 x 5 3/4 ) on each side which are great for journaling and they are so fun to embellish I really tried to get outside the box on this one cutting top notes in half and making them look like doors. Using the matchbox labels and the new BigZ two tag die and sticking the smaller tag into the top of the matchbox label using dimensionals to raise it up and corner rounding the bottom of the tag so it would fit. The NEW tag die #115954 $21.95 pg. 198 is another MUST have I have found fro me anyway.
The second tag has a score line and will fold and tuck! So cool.

I love the black top notes cut in half on the front with the Filigree brads very elegant #112577 page 179, they add that subtle bling I love.

Top notes make great photo mats! Lots of black and white buttons for embellishments here I lucked up and found a huge bag for pennies at a local store.

I love every design in this pack of paper and there was no hoarding it when it came I ripped right into it! Never done that before!! LOL!

These are the last two panels headed to the back of the album.

Look for this as one of our stamp camps projects soon!
Why not host a workshop and make this! Surely the orders will be enough to get you that $250.00 super hostess gift. You can choose anything out of the Holiday Mini (except my digital studio) for ONLY $10.00 anything not just stamps!!! What a great promotion, that's one of the reason I love Stampin' UP they let you have Christmas all year round!!

New Holiday Mini Stamps are here!!

This layout you may recognize from my guest designer a few weeks back Linda C. with a few changes. I love to take a layout and show you how to use several different stamps with it.
Supplies:
CS: Choc chip, real red, old olive, white
Ink: old olive, real red
Stamp Sets: Yuletide Christmas(mini pg.22)
Serene Snowflakes(mini pg.26)
Dasher (IBC pg.208)
Winter Post(IBC pg.35)
Filigree Background( this will make any cs look like DP pg.135,
Short & Sweet (IBC Pg. 141)
Accessories:
Movers and shakers die cut with the modern die in red for a border, then used the modern punch in white and stamped Happy Holidays from Winter Post on it. Eyelet Border punch on the red cs wrapped with,Alpine ribbon ( now its all gone!!) I used the Serene Snowflake in this card and put a rhinestone in the middle for a little bling! The choc chip cs was stamped with the filigree bg stamp before I started.
I used the Yuletide set in this one and a couple of rhinestones for bling!
Addes a little 1/4" real red ribbon above the focal point to add some color.
I used Dasher and Sweet and sassy for the sentiment, rhinestones for bling! Gotta have Christmas bling!! I ran out of alpine here and started using read red grosgrain 5/8"
Yuletide Christmas again, red rhinestones
This is one of my favorite stamp sets Winter Post, a Holiday must. Here I took Dasher antlers and stamped them around the edges to give it something extra , was too plain. Next time on this card I think I will glitter the whole focal image. Short and sassy has this sentiment as well.

Holiday card classes coming up soon! Please sign up asap for October scheduled events classes fill up fast!!
Look forward to seeing you!!

Holiday Scrap Tins Make Great Presents

"Simply Scrappin Kits are awesome!! This one is christmas Jungle for ONLY$19.95 PG. 164-167
They include 6 sheets of designer double sided paper (3) of each and 8 (2) each textured cardstock. This is my favorite part you receive 6 sheets (2) each of die cut adhesives (stickers).
The die cut adhesives alone would total over $20 bucks in a local craft store!
I used a chipboard holiday ball on the front with designer paper to cover it with a die cut adhesive with the Reindeer in the middle. I have some of that rope twine left from last years Holiday Mini and I love it!!
This scrappin kit has two completely different looks you can go with. that is what I love about Stampin' Up! they never fail to surprise me when I really look at the paper and how it all inter twines with the embellishments, cardstock, stamps, ribbon and you find it all in one place .
This scrap tin has the NEW DASHER stamp versamarked on they front two pages, I love DASHER! He is fun to do the fading technique!
He really should have been called Prancer he's very prancy!! LOL
I think this scrap tin is very rich, deep and classy.
What do you think? Leave your comments below!!

This one has the 3D Snow flake on the front as the focal point with designer paper and chipboard ran through the BIG SHOT at the same time so it fits perfectly just adhere it together and I used designer paper and die cut adhesives on the middle.

This one has old olive and real red throughout vs the deep garden green,
and the funny part is it just on the other side of the paper in the kit!
Boy, this is alot of work. I sold 8 this week at the market so I have to restock and prepare for my upcoming crop shows this month!

**Remember all Simply Scrappin Kits can be custom ordered for you or you can purchase the tutorial for $24.95 it includes directions to prep the kit and assembly directions as well as the link to the wholesaler to order the DVD tins that fit this pattern! So you can make your own Holiday gifts!
Just drop me an email at www.whitneyrichardson1969@gmail.com
