NEW Sweet Treats From Stampin' Up!

This is my first adventure with the NEW stamp set Sweet Treats coming out in the Holiday Mini Catty TOMORROW!! You can begin ordering from it.
Supplies:
Cardstock: Black, Perfect Plum, Cast a Spell Designer Paper(pg.161)
Stamps:Sweet Treats (Mini Catty) When you stamp the image you use your 1 3/4" circle punch to punch out the middle of the image and put a sweet treats cup in it. They have adhesive on the back. TIP: Use a piece of transparency behind it to keep the candy secure and put the image over the cup and adhere it to your card.
Accessories: Eyelet border punch, black and white 1 1/4 " grosgrain ribbon, I attached the punch from the inside of the stamped image to the card with cord.
HUGE TIP: Do not make your card to stand straight up and down, make it vertical because with the candy it is top heavy and will not stand up! Make it A frame.
If you would like to order any of these products to make some wonderful Halloween cards or attend one of my Holiday card classes go to my SU web site at www.whitneyrichardson.stampinup.net

Baby Shower Ensemble

I forgot to include the pictures of the NEW baby carriage die cut !
So my pics are a little out of sequence. SORRY!Just keep reading it all comes together!!
This is the baby shower invitation we are using for this shower. The onezie is also a great
invitation piece as well.

You have alot of room to give the details of the shower
embellish and decorate.

Baby Shower Ensemble
Sample

My customer Brianna is hosting a baby shower for her best friend in November and I will coordinating the event and helping the gang make all the favors, invitations, table centerpieces thank you gifts,etc...

Close up of the flower Fold die cut in action making a pot full of posies!

I used a Kiwi colored pot I found a few months back and put a cone shaped Styrofoam
piece in it and cut the top of the cone off and covered it with plastic grass left over from easter matched the pot perfectly. I used long Bamboo skewers I got at Wal-Mart in the housewares section same aisle as the silverware and utensionals for only 97 cents for like 50.

TIP: I used the first 3 flower folds on the die to make my flowers and used dimensionals to adhere them together. Then I doubled the flowers one facing one way on the skewer and another on the back facing outwards. Giving you 6 total flowers. To adhere flowers to bamboo stick I put sticky strip on the bamboo stick front and back! VIP, glue dots won't last!Sticky strip is a must if youwant your flowers to stay put!!

This is the centerpiece for the table. The heart is made with the Movers and shakers die cut and then the purpose of the elaborate centerpiece it is also a game! Each guest will bring a copy of a picture of themselves as a baby and we will
pop it out with the heart punch and mount it to the flowers and then every one will guess who's who!How fun is that!!

This scrap tin is made especially for the mother to be to put her
bridal shower pics and the last few pages is for the notes of who the presents are from so she can send out the thank you notes we are going to make her!

I am having so much fun with this new baby carriage die cut from Sizzix which my friend Kim from our local scrap store ordered for Brianna. She wanted this carriage for the invitations.

This is a Stampin' Up! #2 die cut box with a pink perk twill 1 1/2" ribbon. I love this ribbon.
These will be great for favors and easy to just pop out and then decorate.
This one is generic, but can be customized for each individual mother to be.

This is the onezie die cut from Sizzix it takes 12x12 cardstock in order to make it and it cannot be used with any Sizzix machine smaller than the BIG SHOT. Remember all the extended die cuts are too wide for the cuttlebug and side kick (FYI)
For this shower we will use these for save the dates and put a magnet on the back so guests can put it on their refrig so they won't forget!!

This is a candy kiss tent its a quarter sheet of cardstcok scored at 3 1/4 , 2 1/4 & 1.
Use sticky strip on the last panel and stick on 5 candy kisses. then use sticky strip to seal it.

**I am currently taking customer orders for any or all of these items. If you are interested in any of the Baby shower ensemble pieces, please email with the # of guest and your colors of your shower and ESPECIALLY the date. remember to please give me at least 45 days if possible, I can do rush orders with exception. For pricing and more details contact me at
This is a cute # 2 2 box doubled with one handle with the modern punch for the handle
This is like a drink carrier so to speak and u can use it for games, party favors, etc.
These can be used for all type of events! Join my stamp club and learn how to make your own!

Also, the onesizes can be used for games too, like writing a note to the mom -to-be
on children. good luck, etc....

I found a few of these plastic boxes and I decided to decorate one of them for the ensemble!
But there are many things you can use them for.....teachers, Halloween!
Hope you enjoyed my baby shower ensemble, let me her your comments!!

Nouveau Chic gift Set

Nouveau chic DSP on Scrap tin, top note chipboard brag book, and Sizzix die cut #2 box
Embossed stamp from /a

Oh' Sunny Day!

This tin was created with the Stampin' Up! Sunny Day Simply Scrappin Kit and I have enough left over to make one or two more supplementing the paper of course. That is why it so nice to have all the SU cardstock colors on hand!

Inside of the tin the embellishments are small and work well with the scrap tin concept.

Scrap tins are great because you can finish them in a DAY!! Love INSTANT GRATIFICATION!!
This is my absolute favorite DSP SU has ever came out with! Nouveau chic!

This is perfect if you want to take your pictures and change the tone to black and white.

This tin has a top note that has been die cut a second time and then embossed in silver with my fav stamp from All Holidays, check out how to cut the top note again at http://stampingupnorthwithlaurie.blogspot.com/
My friend Laurie's blog she has step by step instruction photos

inside of tin just customize your pics to less than 3x4 in height and width or use the wallet function if you don't have the option to customize on your printer.
I made this in a flip scrap album as well, which allows you to put larger pictures and journaling on the side.
All tins here are available for order in pre-cut kits or pre-made.
If you would like to just purchase the directions for the tin supplies and assembly directions for $24.95 shoot mean email at www.whitneyrichardson1969@gmail.com

Scrap Tins for Custom Order

I picked up this paper at my local scrap store when all the paper was 1/2 price
and I had the cutest chipboard cupcakes made by Creative Imagination (BE) which I covered with cardstock and used puffy paint and made the frosting. you have to use a blow dryer not you heat tool to heat puffy paint up. Trust we learned the hard way at Christmas last year!
I chose to widen my array of collection of tins that I am selling at my craft store at the Daytona Flea Market. Especially because so many ppl that come through are visiting from other areas. It also shows them that they can take materials they have at home and apply them to the techniques they learn in my stamp camps! I teach a stamp camp monthly on how to make the scrap tins! It is so much fun sharing with people who have never heard of Stampin' Up! about the SU advantage and then they go home and look up a demonstrator in there area by going to www.stampinup.com under demo locator and find a stamp group in their area!
All these tins are for sale and available for custom order.

I made a few vacation tins with some of the paper I purchased at the scrap shop. Unfortunately right now Stampin' Up! does not have a selection of vacation or baby papers right now. So I am
in cases like this we have to get crafty. The flip flops on the front are a Sizzix Big Z die which I think just make this tin adorable!! They also make a great card!! Especially here in Daytona everyone wears flip flops it is like an unspoken mascot for feet! LOL!

The inside of the tin is bright, cheery and just waiting for your vacation pictures! These tins make wonderful gifts for any occasion. I am already receiving custom orders for tins that ppl want to give their loved ones as presents. Please if you have an order in mind go ahead and email me so I can schedule you in. Time gets away from us this time of year.
I look forward to receiving your orders soon!

I have more samples I will be posting soon!
Hope you enjoy them!!

Chesne Gets her Drivers License!!

This is my oldest daughter Chesne who I can't believe will soon be 17!
Yes, I took her to get the old DL! This is before we left the house.
Chesne holding her drivers license in front of the 96 Camry I have saved to give her on this day!

This is right after she came back from her driving test and she knows she passed shes breathing again!

If you have a teenager I strongly suggest the book "The Language of Letting Go " by Melodie Beattie. It will help you through some scary times and help you learn to let go and let them grow up! Remember you raised them, you are not responsible for their choices or their consequences they are!! God however will just give you the strength and courage to help them through life. But God has got them, you are not in control, God is. Ohhhh that is so hard to remember on a daily basis! Keep praying!! I am so proud of my beautiful daughter she has grown up alot this summer. She will be a junior this year!! She knows things now that took me 25 years to learn!

Guest Designer Sue Gilroy

My friend and customer Sue Gilroy has been attending my classes for almost a year now in Brandon, Florida. She attended the Scrap Tin class I held one month and fell in love with making tins! Aren't Simply Scrappin Kits fun and easy to use for ONLY $ 19.95 Everything so color coordinated and the die cut adhesives(stickers) are so beautiful and match the cardstock perfectly! You get so much more than those kits in the stores!!

Guest Designer Linda Clendening

I received this beautiful sweet thank you card from one of my downline and dear friend Linda.
She is very talented and is well on her way to making a great demonstrator!
She will be getting her toes wet throwing her first workshop soon and with work like this she will do just fine!! Congrats Linda, and thank you for the Razzle Dazzle ! I love this card.
I really like how you corner rounded the opposite edges of the focal point and kept the others square. Scott (my DH) noticed that right away. He said that looks cool!! I agree.
Looks like a signature trademark to me!
Linda has her own blog and will be introducing it soon her at Whitney's Stampin' Studio!
Have a great day!

Get Punchy While Scrapping!

The cover of this scrap tin's focal point is the EXCLUSIVE new flower fold extended Big Shot die cut from Stampin' Up! I also used the filmstrip die I picked up at a local store.
The open fold of the tin showcases Stampin' Up!'s Flower Daisy die cut and our heart to heart punch. The punches used mostly for embellishing tins with DP are the scallop oval punch, medium oval die, NEW modern punch , photo corners punch is a MUST!!
Then my matchbox die with the labels on it and the Movers and Shakers Die Cuts are also extremely helpful in scrapping!!

I love these wild colors and the contrast they really pop.
Thanks for stopping by!

Exclusive Square Scallop Flip album

I made this little flip album with the new Exclusive Stampin' Up! clear square scallop die. I used Bo Bunny 6x6 chipboard and cut out the square scallops and DP and adhered them to the album with a glue stick( best adhesive with chipboard)
( you can get it at your local scrap store for about $2 bucks it is a great deal.)
Designer paper is Razzleberry Lemonade and I used the Daisy die behind the sentiment which is white embossed on the larger ovals on the oval sizzix die.
I mixed matched the papers with in color cs put on a little jump ring
and the polka dotted in color ribbon! Great for a little brag book.
Hope you enjoy it!!

Urban Oasis Tri-Fold Card

My upline, Lisa taught me the coolest layout for a card. It all folds up and fits into a regular envelope. the cs is 8x8 kiwi and the I used up the rest of my Oasis DP!
Used the butterfly die cut and the top note and did that new fancy cut on the top note and then embossed it in black with the sentiment from the Birthday Set!
I just think this is the cutest thing! Thanks Lisa!

Cottage Wall Scrap Tin

Yes, I know I had to fordge out to the unmentionable lands of contraband to get these beautiful embellishments but even the strongest demonstrator couldn't help herself when you see how perfectly they match the Cottage Wall DP.
This tin speaks family, friendship and elegance the sentiment on the front is about the best times being shared in the very bossom of family and friends. This is one of my favorite tins. You should see the light in people's eye at the market when people pick up the tins and check them out.
I can't keep them in stock they are absolutely a wonderful gift and fun make.
Scrap Tin Class August 30th
2-6pm Sunday $35.00 if your local,
if you are out of state I sell the tutorial for $24.95
