Our christmas Part -2- A Love Story

This is the face I have been looking for Christmas morning for the last 7 years with this guy, My wonderful husband! I finally got him this year and saved enough to afford a super duper surprise for Christmas morning that I bought solely from my own Stampin' Up! money so it was a complete surprise!

Well now I would not be too successful of a demonstrator if that Patriots blanket was it, now would I? But that blanket is just to keep his feet warm while he enjoys his other gifts.

Here see the dismay & confusion......side bar: we just bought a NEW 52" LED TV right before Christmas and all the techy accessories have to change once you go LED. Come on everyone is suppose to know that! Best Buy thinks so anyway.
So apparently the technological world has been doing this for ages changing techy stuff on the big item so you have to buy all new accessories that are that kind of techy too!
That is why you need a new laptop like every 2 yrs.
I just have to compare it to my recent wardrobe situation for justification...yes after moving to Daytona I have gained more than a few pounds, so if my jeans don't fit I need a whole new wardrobe or either I am getting to the age (like my Aunt who you to have a wardrode is every size range) YIKES come on y'all your metabolism changes after 40 !
Anyhew, back to his gift....

I got him a Blueray surround sound system to go with his new TV and he was completely surprised and blown away! Now we can play our WII again and we did.
Sidebar: He was distrought after we bought the new TV because there wasn't a plug that was adaptable for the Wii gaming system that we ONLY play once a year at Christmas. He became obsessed with it. So the new surround sound system fixed that problem as well!

Family Wii Tournament
Huge Bowling tournament with my brother and his family and out of 10 ppl this ole girl came in 2nd place.
Now being a winner comes with a price girls
seriously after Wii bowling I could not walk for 2 days. LOL
So sad, I guess this is where I should make a New Year's resolution or something...

This is the" HONEY, I love you , you did it look"!
I have tried to get for the last 7 Christmas's but I cannot keep a secret and always blow it!!
Best part is my Stampin' Up! Business paid for this smile, even better.
Progress not perfection !

I want to thank all my wonderful customers and friends in the blogging world who make this a journey and so much fun sharing what I love with them and making money is a perk too!
God has blessed me beyond belief this year and I give all the praise and glory to him!

Happy New Year to all of you and thank you for letting me share a little of our Christmas with you.

Our Christmas Morning-Part 1

Yes, these are 8 pairs of shoes that my 18 year old daughter Chesne received for Christmas!
One pair of Ugg boots from Me & Dad and the rest from her beau, Robbie.

Robbie enjoying his first family Christmas with our family

Chesne would die if she see's this picture on my blog, but I wanted you to see how much she loved the Ugg's we got her and convinced her before hand that they were sold out.

They are Hollister employees so they have matching shirts and got all dolled up for some pretty Christmas pictures

This is our dog Bella, who just had to get a hug and a kiss in while we were talking the picture.
I think they make a cute couple. All was bliss.

Crushed by Ravens

In this Halloween ensemble the Raven of All Dark & Dreary is debuting.
The Designer Series paper Nite Owl in the (HMC) is featured.
  • On the box of Orange Crush I cut a 1/2 sheet of Nite Owl DP and used my handy dandy glue stick and adhere it to the box, It was actually much simpler than I thought. I saw this idea featured in the convention pics.
  • The second project is the new candy wrapper die in tango tangerine with a 2" strip of Wicked Cool DP wrapped around it and a sentiment from the stamp set Wicked Cool popped out with the curly label punch adhered with the NEW Black Lace from the HMC and topped off with a little dollar store spider clip.
  • Then I took a sheet of 5 1/2 x 12 black CS and used the fancy favor box die cut ran it through the Big Shot and covered the Front panel with a design from the Wicked Cool DSP & then cut a large oval from the large scallop oval die cut in the Nite Owl DP
  • I centered up the Owl on the Nite Owl Designer Paper on the Ovals die using the Largest oval made pencils marks where I get could all of the owl I could into the cut and ran it thru the Big Shot.
  • then adhered it all together and I have a Spooky treat box, notice the owl is winking at you with a orange glimmer in his eye! Tango marker!
  • I also used the NEW bat punch for a little bat action at the bottom of the box.
  • Hope you like then I had a great time making them. My friend is having aPamepered chef party and we are going to decorate in All Hallow's Eve Decor so I am slowly getting things together for the event which is on October 29th. Need any Pampered Chef items just shoot me an email!

Wickedly Spooky Tree

This is my Halloween tree and I made these cones I had seen a while back and added a new ribbon scrunching technique which I cannot wait to share at technique class this month!

This one of the first cones in Wicked Cool DSP and stamp set

This one I love with the Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon and I got black toille and used for the insides.

On this one, I used the curling the 1/8" pieces of CS technique that was in our Stampin' Success magazine a couple of months ago. Also used my new Bat punch and Wicked cool again with the scallop oval punch and the wide oval punch.

This was a very popular ensemble. I got these test tubes and I just love this little box to put the test tubes in. Makes a neat gift for someone, out of the ordinary!
Want to make the test tube box and the beautiful cones ????Which can be used for your Christmas tree as well- then meet me at my technique class on October 21st - Thursday night 6:30-9:30pm. I have 1 seat left for this class. Email asap if you want to reserve it!!
