Keepsake Ornaments

I have been looking forward to this class ever since the Holiday catalog came out!
Out of all the amazing samples in the catalog this was my favorite.
I will share a few pictures from our class and the creations that were made.

This is a sample I made with the Candlelight Designer Series Paper /Vanilla CS
and the Espresso Tulle and Silver Glimmer paper for the Snowflake
Everyone chose to make the Suede/Espresso combination at class.
We used the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and stamped the 2 ornament images in Soft Suede and Espresso on Vanilla CS, Vanilla CS makes a huge difference. TIP: I first used White CS and I really like how the Vanilla comes out much better even on my Cherry Cobbler and  Limeade ornaments as well.
We used the Rosette die with our new silicone pads ( this is a new must have in our stash item) and our hot glue guns and it made rosette making so much easier. You just put a dab of hot glue on the end of your rosette when you have it all folded up and that keeps it together so that you can assemble it with out all the flipping and flopping over. It was a beautiful thing.
This is Liz Cook's ornament. I love how she added the Espresso tulle to give it a rich depth.
Natural Composition DSP for her Rosette,Champagne Glimmer paper with
the NEW snowflake die ( it has 3 different sizes of snowflakes to choose from on it),
Crochet ribbon, and the Vintage Glass buttons with a large pearl in the middle. Hey where her pearl go?
Love the back! We die cut a 3 inch circle and then stamped the sentiment on vanilla cs and popped it out with the 2 1/2 in circle punch. One of the girls used the NEW gold pen in the Holiday catty to sign hers with and it was gorgeous!
Then we made 3 rosette ornaments and stamped images in silver and heat embossed them
Made this beautiful box to put them in.
Notice the top of box, yes we used the decorative label punch to make those designs and put some acetate behind it. I cased this beauty from one of my downline Leslie Sharpe.
The box is 3 inches wide so it fits 3 - 2 1/2 inch rosettes perfectly.

Looking forward to making a few more of these in different color combinations to WOW my friends and family when they receive the gifts at the Holidays with these beauties on top!

Serenity Stamper Inspiration Story!

What Motivates You?
This was the theme of our meeting to identify what motivates us and to allow that motivation to move us along our journey.

At our Inspiration Meeting this weekend we discussed
alot of new and exciting ways to introduce new friends to our stamping & crafting business.
We also enjoyed make and takes and fun fellowship among team members
and a few new friends from our side line sisters from Busy Girls Cafe.
It was exciting and fun to see all the creative energy flowing through the room.
I would like to share a big announcement along with some highlighted
projects from one of our demonstrators who went home from the meeting and put some business tips into action and received some amazing results from a foundation of steady business building and implementing
some new tips from our meeting!
Congrats to Linda Carter who promoted to
Sr. Supervisor!

Linda began her journey with Stampin' Up! in May of 2009 as a hobby demonstrator.
Quickly Linda became the hot new creative coach at her church and crafters were encouraging her to hold classes in which they could attend and of course play with all her Stampin' Up! toys.
It did not take long for Linda to realize their was some income to be made from this Stampin' Up! thing!
At first it began to pay for her hobby and now it is starting to pay some bills!
She is now a leader of her own team and it beginning a journey down the Stampin' Up! road to
SU leadership convention in Orlando in January of   2013.
This has been a goal for Linda for a while and I am very happy it has come to pass for her and I am looking forward to sharing some amazing leadership moments with her in Orlando.
Below are a few of her latest projects from the classes she teaches in Brandon, Florida. I was able only snap a few there were tons of samples I will be sharing over the week.

Can you see why her classes are in demand?
Very talented and wonderful lady who I am honored to call a friend.
that is my favorite part of my job as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and a recruiter is all the amazing friends and business partners I get to share my time with. If you have decided you would like to make a little extra money like Linda did and would like to become a part of our team give us a jingle. The Holidays are coming up and the NEW totally customizable $99 starter kit would make an awesome early present to yourself!

Serenity Stampers Inspiration Meeting- part one

We had a fabulous time this weekend at our Serenity Stampers Group Inspiration meeting.
We had some guest designers and friends visit us from The Busy Girls Cafe
and they surprised me with this awesome RAK I just have to share with you!
To say the least, I was extremely touched by the sentiment and the love that came with it.
Check this out isn't it awesome!
It has my name at the bottom! Isn't it cool?
Patty, Sandy, Jeanette, & Brenda made this for me using one of the
New ad's Stampin' Up! is running in some of the magazines.
I thought for sure this was done
with MDS but it was just the ad!
There are 3 different ads and they certainly chose my favorite one! LOL
The detail and design is so striking! I have it hanging in my stamp room and it makes me smile every time I look at it. I think of all my stamping friends I have met through the years.
See the rosette made with the Sizzix  XL Rosette die, they are super easy to make now using the new silicone pad from SU in the Holiday Mini catalog!
I will be sharing more samples by team members shared at the meeting for your inspirational viewing!
Have a GREAT Monday!

Over the Top!

We ended our third session of our Big Shot Club last night on a totally phenomenal note!
With 3 amazing projects inspired by uber  talented
SU demo's Connie Babbert, Penny Smiley, & Melissa Stout.
This  is what I love about being a SU demo - we share this creative energy & so freely...
put  it out in the universe because we love what we do and sharing it with others.
We  grab a little bit from each other as we need it and tweak it to our own style and
viola
a creative vortex is born!
Thank you ladies for your amazing ideas and inspiration!
The Exclusive Pennant Sizzix die from Stampin' Up!
turned into a Christmas tree!  The Scentsational Bundle
stamp set & framelits worked fabulous to decorate
my tree with the Festival of Prints DSP stack & a variety of border punches.
check out the bling (glitter paper) at the tippy top-a star.
A card, a great gift card  or money holder! endless possibilities!
Bootiful Occasions Loving this stamp set! It is very versatile.
Card technique is a 3 1/2 circle swing card. DSP: Be of Good Cheer
Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green coordinates
Don't forget the dazzling details!
"Oh Know...  my dimensionals are showing"! In craft land that like getting caught with your slip hangin out! Those are not suppose to go beyond your circle! It is just my sample, but still we need fix that!
Learning to use your sawtooth edgelit can be a challenge!
Boy, this card has alot of steps! But well worth the pay off!
You have a beautiful jar packed full of fruit, a nice indigo lid,
on a white weathered woodgrain background.
Lots of fun stamping, taping down tiny edgelits, wow what I put these girls through and they still keep coming back!
Perfectly Preserves Stamp Set and Cannery Framelits Bundle is too much fun!
PLUS did you know it is 15% off !!
If you are still asking yourself "do I really need another embossing folder, while looking at the weathered embossing folder" the answer is absolutely! I give you permission. It is a must have in your stash item! We all no those are a free pass!

Stay tuned the next post you will see some of their beautiful creations!
