Girl's Night Out Card Class

I love this vintage distressed look and the stamp set Sense of Time is perfect for this look!
Elements of Style & EnFrancis as the background stamp stamped in soft suede on the white confetti ( which I like for this technique and smooching because its thick and very sturdy)
with blushing bride cs peaking in behind it. Then we had fun tearing and sponging
relieves alot of frustration from a long day!
The we stamped the clock face onto white and cut it out and placed it on top of the Big Shot die cut the clear circle scallop in soft suede. We used one of those pretty pink brads I had left from Valentines and placed our sentiment in the middle giving it the implication it was a big clock hand with a message for our recipient.

Being the Smooching Fool I am they love it and kinda of hate it when I say we are going to smooch tonight! The smoochers as I like to call them take some getting use to because the nozzles really are posessed they will spray you in the face , the totally other directions than your card stock and you can just plain waste half a bottle if your not careful. We love the effects but sometimes don't like what we have to do to get there. Remember the days before
the BIG SHOT...... I rest my case!
Stamps:Elements of Style
CS:Basic Black and White and Presto papers
Anyhew, I used my very favorite peice of Presto paper and cut 5 1/4 peices and we brayered them with basic gray bringing out this marverlous design and then we smooch alittle vanilla over the top for some sheen and shine. The base of course is white with gray stain ribbon and a few little clear rhinestone brads witha modern label punch at the top.
This one is a case from Me, My Stamps, & I's blog .
Stamp Set: Vintage Vogue
CS: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede, White
Ink: Saffron, Suede
Punches: scallop trim border with suede polka dot ribbon

We had a blast making these cards and we missed all those who couldn't join us for GNO!!

Group Gathering in Plant City

Our fearless leader Lisa Curcio, has always been an avid SU advocate and strictly enforces the "NO CONTRABAND" rule at group meeting, swaps and such. So we were giving her a little tease showing her how quick and easy the scor-tape is to us because you can just tear it and there is no staticy red thing hanging from your finger that is impossible to get off. She absolutley hates it when we use these new items that are so tempting because she is a SU girl all the way!
She never steps foot into a craft store and just will not use anything that is not SU!
Gotta love the will power!
So then we taught her the NEW terminology for contraband in Jan Tink's terms
which is "Rubbah Adultary" so this is Lisa expression in her Italian dilac practicing "Hey! I told ya "No Rubbah Adultary" she is the best. This picture was taken at our group meeting back home at my upline Pat Nelson's home where we gathered for a year end party.

A few card samples I snapped a few pictures then my camera battery died!!
This is Pat giving us some business news

This card was made by one of my Serenity Stampers downline Linda Clendening

Linda also made this awesome Father's Day card . Yeah it's cute and all. But have you ever tried to tie a tie on your hubby well try tying one on a card! Very Tricky indeed. she is very talented.

I have wanted this stamp set all year long and have finally ordered it. I can't wait to make these two beautiful cards my upline Pat Nelson made.

Luau Card, 3D & Scrap Page Contest Winners

We had so many amzing entries for the contest we had to break it up into 3 different card winner categories.
The card above won for layout design. We recently learned this joy fold card in a class and Leslie Sharpe went home after getting pumped at our downline meeting she made this award winning card!! Using the Island Floral die cut and other select Sizzix dies and her Vintage labels stamp set and modern label punch. Very creative , great color coordination, all around eye catcher!
Inside of the card

Lelsie Sharpe layout card design winner

Sandra Heck won the techniques category on two cards that she designed we just loved them both.

Using the tearing technique she learned in technique class last week, her Big shot, punches and the layout and designs were incredible.

Classes really do work!!

With this one you notice the branches from the bird punch attached to Flower Layer Big Shot die cuts with that beautiful jewel and she is still collecting her punches so i though it was very clever how she arranged her punches to display her sentiment,

This scrapbook page is amazing, we have learned how to use our smooch sprays with our ink pads, brayers and sponging on the Presto Papers. Debbie Forguson is the winner of the best all around scrap page design and card design. Debbie hardly misses a class each month. We have been together almost 7 months now and watching her grow as a stamper has been a real treat.
She has scrapbooked for many years and attended local scrap shop classes but once she had the SU experience she has never looked back.

Below:
This page is gorgeous. See how the color layers bring out the depth in the photograph. I absolutley love the added touch of the butterflies. Simply elegant!

This is Deb Forguson always with a smile on her face!!

This is a 411 sketch I sent out last week Deb didn't get her materials until Thursday evening and she created two fabulous cards using all SU products, stamps and accessories.
Below is the inside which is equally as pretty.
Below is Lynn Boyle she is one of my newest team members to my downline and she has been with me for about the same time as Deb.

she had the only 3-D entry so it was unanimous!
She was waiting for her new stamp set to come in with her sentiment on it.

Ladies: What a great job all the entries were very good. you are meeting all your sketch challenges and I am humbled by your creativity.

Look at all that BLING!!

Tropical Party Stamp Camp Luau & Craft Sale

We had an amazing time on Sunday, with a pool side view we stamped and camped our little hearts away! We had a pool side Luau BBQ all my customers generously brought a covered dish or two

and my amazing "Pampered Chef" alumni Deb Brown made this awesome watermelon boat for us with SU carved on the front!

These are the first two make and takes we did at our stamp camp.
This is the scalloped dress card in tropical delight. With her matching round tab purse!
Inspired by Gretchen Barron

This is my little straw basket made with the Baskets & Blooms die cut with a box inside that is

7x6 scored at 2" all the way around. Attach with sticky strip.Use paper scraps to add your colors strips on the outside of the basket butting them up to one another adhering them to the basket die cut and then trimming off the excess and then run it thru the lattice emboss folder. Use the 1" circle punch to punch the handle. Add a little raffia and some embellishments and your golden!! This project was inspired by Patti Lee of Creations by Patti.

Everyone waits patiently for me to finish the demonstrations so they can start crafting .

The baskets and blooms demo a little tricky with all those little scraps strips lining them up in the proper order.

After demo's everyone just rotates stations making there projects at their own pace which is super fast for this talented group.

Leslie and Katie on to the stamping and crafting!! Whoo Hoo!

Deb is in deep concentration cutting her basket
I just loved her dress! Very festive.

Sandra was decked out in her original attire from Hawaii.

We were blessed to have my down line best gal pal Linda Clendening as our guest designer from my other half of my DL in Brandon, Fl arrive and teach the Father's day shirt card .
I tell ya this is one crafty lady! I miss being in the same city with her tremendously.
We make an awesome team.

The is the front of the Father's Day shirt prototype. I did not get a picture of the tropical party DP one they all made. They were very festive!! this is Linda's creation.

I added this small portion for the inside, a top note cut twice with the Happy Father's Day stamp from "All Holidays" and then on the top portion is a place for you to put a bag of candy or a gift card.

We absolutely had a grand day! Thanks to my DH and kids who cooked our BBQ and all those contributed to our luau feast. We were in heaven stampin, craftin & great food! What better way to spend a beautiful day fellow shipping.

I would like to thank all my customers for all their support this year and their loyalty.

A special thanks to my buddy Linda who came up to help me all weekend!

I couldn't have done it with out you!
