Moving and Shaking on the Cottage Wall

I made this gift set for my husband while he was recovery in the hospital from hand surgery. you can see my sleepy eyed little one Ansleigh in the background waiting for Mom to finish picture taking and get her breakfast!
The box was filled lots of his favorite candies!
Card Supplies:
I used the Movers and Shakers XL Die cut to cut out this perfect card
measuring 4 1/4 x11 scored at 5 1/2 " in Rich Razzleberry. I also used the Movers and Shapers Heart Die to get that perfect heart in the center of the card. Then I cut out another heart in Orchid Opulence to put inside the heart for contrast. Make sure to stick the heart inside while your card is closed with a little dotto, dimensionals do not work it needs to be flat to open and close good. TIP:Also, Put all your Designer paper on your card first before running it through the big shot to do the heart. Its very hard to try to go back and line everything up afterward.
CS:Rich Razzleberry, Cottage Wall DSP, whisper white, old olive
INK: Ochid Opulence
Accessories: Big shot, Matchbox XL die to make the label, modern label punch and Movers and shakers die cut using the modern label as a background for the punch piece to set the sentiment on. I also used a small butterfly from the NEW Butterfly embosslit
coming in the NEW Occasions Mini catalog on Jan 5th. I love that embosslit. It gives you 5 embossed butterflies in all different sizes. super cool ladies!
I also used the NEW Vintage Vogue stamp set launching in the Mini. Topped it off with some Razzleberry polka dot ribbon and Viola'.
For the box: (2,5,7,10 box can be found on SCS under resources)
  • Score a 8.5 x11 sheet of cardstock at 2,5,7,10
  • then turn it and score the 8.5 side at 2" and fold up use sticky strip to adhere.
  • Cut out a designer topper with the Cottage Wall DP in the form of a Top Note adhere the top note to the back of your box on the outside back with sticky strip
  • then use your cropadile and put two holes in the top to run your NEW silky smooth Satin 5/8" Old Olive ribbon through to make your handle.
  • Adhere the pieces of ribbon inside the box with glue dots so it will stay down.
  • For the front I used a piece of velcro to keep the top down, but first I embellished it with a corduroy brad to make it purty!
  • I used the two hearts that were left over from the cut out heart from the Movers and shakers card and adhered them to the front of the box with dimensionals and applied the sentiment with orchid ink on whisper white.
The nurses loved them and all inquired about what I do. One of the nurses is even going to have a workshop and offered to put up a flyer in their break room advertising my classes.
God blesses us when we least expect it sometimes and we were VERY blessed to have my husband home in time for Christmas.
He had a rod go through his hand and in about a 1& 1/2 inches while working. He missed his carpultunal nerve by 1/2" which the Dr. said would have left him disabled in that hand. We go back today for his check up and hopefully he will be released to go back to work and they will not have to do another surgery.Long road of physical therapy and lite duty. I pray the numbness in his fingers will go away in time and there is no permanent nerve damage. Thanks to all for your prayers.

Flower Folds Sucker Flower Pot

I absolutely love the way this turned out. My inspiration started as I was attempting to use the new stamp set I got for VDay "Whooo's your Valentine and make the sucker cover in the Stampin Success magazine. That is the template. Then I added the two 1x3" pieces of white to make it look like a flower pot (front and back). I do have a sucker inside upside down so that the stick is above the pot and I used my Sizzix XL Flower folds die cut and used the smallest two flowers in Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and Melon Mambo CS then added some of the NEW Sweat Pea stitched felts(as seen in the picture) as the stem and the middle of the flower. I used glue dots to adhere them to the stick and dimensionals between the flower folds to make them pop out. Then I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive from the new stamp set "With all My Heart"coming out in the NEW Occasions Mini catty available for order on Jan 5th
on whisper white and cut a v in the end of the strip of cs to give it a whirly tail. The ribbon is the Melon Mambo polka dot. These will be adorable for my daughters class Valentines this year!

Razzle Be Dazzle Journal

This is a DVD (5 1/8 " x 7-1/4 )tin altered into a journal tin for a friend for a Christmas present.
These are very popular at craft fairs and a great stamp camp project.
Supplies:
Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, Melon Mambo CS, Crushed Curry, and Rich Razzleberry
Ink: White craft ink and white EP
Sizzix Die cut: Hanging Scallop
Adhesive: All Purpose spray adhesive on the outside , sticky strip on the inside flaps of the tin.
I used my Carl Cutter to cut the journal pads or you can take them to Kinko's and they will cut them to fit for you. I used the Pentel pens or Foray can get at local office supply store and you can put DP inside the pen and wrap it around the ballpoint using a dab of dotto when wrapping to make the pen match your color motiff.
I used Sizzix embossing folders to embellish the inside flaps and cut the top off the envelope that fit the 3x3 cards to make a pouch for the pen. Use sticky strip to adhere that down as well.
then I stamped some a daily meditation and used the Charming stamp set which will remain the upcoming catalog.
I hope you like it ! I use mine all the time to take notes! Great present for bible study members, book clubs, PTA members, teachers, etc....

Holiday Party and Holiday Gift class

This is the box we made at our Holiday class this weekend. Holiday Lounge DSP and Real Red for the top of the box with white 5/8" satingn ribbon and the gift tag is a top note with another top note cut in half sahara sand and HL Dsp. real red 1/4 ' grosgrain ribbon and the scallop from movers and shakers backed the sentiment stamped from Holiday Punches in real red ink.

I added one of my new courd buttons from the NEW Occasions mini in real red to top it off.

I took plain white tissue paper and used my NEW Vintage rolller wheel and decorated my plain paper and turned into a beautiful vintage looking liner for my box to put my goodies in to.

This is my MOST favorite(I sound like my 8 year old she is in the stage where every song that comes on the radio, "oooh this my most favorite song!!" and can quote title and artist) gift set I have made this Holiday season. I am such a dork I just saw this was a Bulk Buy paper and now of course they are all gone. I have been hoarding these two sheets and my cusotmers just drooling over them. Live and learn.
This is the same box as above just with different DSP. Then the good ole fav of mine the Box in the Bag! Which can fit wonderful items like the small Bath and Body Works hand sanitizers and gels. All kinds of goodies can be given in this gift set duo!!

We also made the bread box at class. We had a visitor at class for our Holiday Party. My 17 year old daughter works at Hollister( a clothing store in the mall) and her Manager Robbie( a handsome 26 year old All American very well rounded young man) came and crafted with us. He was a delight. I think all of us enjoyed his company and he is a very nifty crafter.

This is a $1.00 christmas Mug I nought at a local store and added two candy canes, hot chocolate, marshmellows, candy kisses and chocolates. Wrapped it with the long roll of cello (shrink wrap minus the shrinking) and added the Stampin' Up! Exclusive Two tag die with the stamped setiment Sweet Holidays in real red ink and whisper white paper.
Perfect co-worker, neighbor gift, etc...

Inexpensive Holiday gifts

I bought a stack of these plain gift bags. The color was so cool, it matched the shimmery color in the Cocoa speciality DSP in the Holiday Mini Catalog. So I just added a strip of the striped DP and punched out a snowflake and put a half pearl in the middle of the snowflake to dress it up a bit with a little white satin 5/8" ribbon tied on top of the handle (you can't see it in this picture).
The tag is made with the Holiday Lounge DSP pg. 162)in the Idea Book and Catalog.
Holiday Lounge DSP is the top layer of top note layer, Sahara sand( bottom of the top note layer, remove preforation), ruby red(back top note)Just put the the two halves of the layered top note together wrapping white 1/4 " grosgrain ribbon around and stamped sentiment from Holiday Punches( Level 2 Hostess stamp set) Also added a jumbo eyelet and some rope twine to tie to the bag.

I love this stamp set called DEER Friends. It was a level 2 Hostess set from last year.
Punches- 1 1/4", 1 3/8" and the scallop circle punch alternating real red, garden green and chocolate chip.I put Peppermint Patties in the middle! I used our medium cello bags and stamped Serene Snowflake from the Holiday Mini catalog on the outside of them with white Stazon. The topper is the top note folded in half with a bow on the top!

This one is filled with candy canes. I am passing out all these goodies with my bio on them out at the Networking Connects Woman's group I joined last month at our Holiday luncheon on Thursday.

Got teenagers? How about a nice top note on their door that says, please clean your room or take out garbage or my personal favorite unload the dish washer!

"My Best Friend's Wedding"

This is my best buddy Regina and I on her wedding day!
She married a brave soldier of the United States of America!
The ceremony was lovely and really touched my heart. I have watched this love unfold from the beginning via a very long distance romance to watching them exchange their vows and begin their journey in God's kingdom as husband and wife. They will be living in Hawaii.
I made this for one of their wedding mementos.
Yes, it is a bitty book! I stashed a few away to save for very special occasions!
This is a picture of the sleeve the bitty book slides into for safe keeping.
This is my garter I wore at my wedding used to embellish the sleeve. I used The Grooms Designer Speciality Paper and the Brides DSP to design this book.
The letter "L" stands for LeValley their last name with two half back large pearls from the Pretties Kit. The "L" is from the Seriff Essentials alphabet die cut set. It is backed with dimensionals and covered with the Brides DSP with chipboard sandwiched between to give it some firmness.
The ribbon is the white satin, OMG, I love the NEW 5/8" satin ribbon line in the Occasions Mini.
This is the bitty book that fits inside the sleeve and holds all the pictures.
I used the Sizzix Scalloped Hanging Frame die cut and some beautiful quick embellishments I picked that just fit the occasion perfectly. Using our rhinestone brads and the Bride and Groom DSP. What do you think, really I need comments?

This is the card I made for them as these were their wedding colors it worked out great!!
Again Bride and Groom DSP, pretties kit hat pin with pearls and crystals wrapped the bow with NEW satin 5/8" real red ribbon( love it ) get it in every color!! The sentiment is from the Together Forever stamp set and the label is from the matchbox die cut with two black brads.

This is the happy couple having their first dance as husband and wife!
Josh and Regina have not had an easy road to this day, Josh has been fighting in the war in Iraq and Regina has been patiently waiting for him to come home so they can begin their life together.
I thank God for the wonderful blessing of this union and for bringing her soldier home safely to begin their life together. Did I mention in Hawaii!! Lucky girl!

Lounging around my stamp studio

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went home as a family for the first time since moving from Brandon to Daytona and it was wonderful.
I was blessed to spend some quality time(not nearly enough) with my Serenity Stamper Linda Clendening over the weekend and she gave me a Thanksgiving gift like the one above but in a Thanksgiving motiff. I had to rush home and make some. This is definately one of the projects we will be doing at our easy gift class on December 12th- Saturday from 10-2pm.
This is what it looks like from the top. I made spice bread for all my customers who orders arrived this week and are picking them up! It is a bread box, with bread actually in it. Yes I baked. Well... truthfully my husband did help with that part.
Perfect gift for neighbors, co-workers, teachers, etc.. I sure hope my customers like them!!
Supplies:
Taken with Teal Card stock/Ink and the Holiday Lounge Designer Series paper
Stamps: Retired SAB set from last year

This is a new lil dilly I made with my NEW petal card die cut that arrived today. I think I have waited a year to get this and make it. Another Serenity Stamper Vicky DiFabrizio made these last year for a craft show and I just thought they were too cute!! Perfect for table party favors and just a sweet gesture of sweetness!! Wrapped inside is a Ghiradelli chocolate!Perfect for lunch box surprises!!
Sentiment is from the level 2 Holiday punch set. Holiday Lounge is the DP.1/2" real red grosgrain ribbon.

I love the postage stamp of Santa Claus in that Holiday Punch Level 2 set.
I stamped it in teal ink on whisper white and adhered it to the top of the wrapped chocolate.
I really had fun making these thanks girls for the inspiration! This is the fun part of being an upline you teach them a few things then they teach you alot of things!!

Holiday Lounge gifts

This is Designer Paper is Holiday Lounge.(1156760 pg. 162)
These are some projects I have been working on the past few days.

This a matchbox from theSizzix Extended XL match box label die (114890 pg. 201)
With the white Organza ribbon(114319 pg 183) Taken with Teal Cs and the sentiment is from the level one Hostess set Holiday Best stamped in taken with teal. It includes 4 wrapped Hershey's nuggets. Great Secret Santa gift or table gifts for parties, baby showers , weddings.
This is a fabulous die cut to have it also has three labels on it in which I use religiously!
This box is made with the Stampin' Up! exclusive Sizzix XL extended die cut
Box #2(114518 pg. 201) . I took two boxes and adhered them together leaving the flap up and using the modern label punch to make my handle and the White Organza ribbon again. This ribbon is very handy it matches everything and dresses it up or you can make it more casual if you like. I adorned it with the beautiful Holiday Lounge Christmas trees( I know they are side ways hat can I say) it was a scrap! LOL! the embellishment is from the level two Holiday Punches stamp set stamped in teal backed in ovals from the oval die cut in Sahara sand and teal with those cute1/2" library clips.

Merry Moments spent in my stamp studio

I love the metal embossing technique! My friend Terrie got a great deal on these awesome tins and was so gracious to share with me and I am transitioning them to my new candy tin.

I had a hard time finding a corner rounder that will work on them they are an odd size, but today I had success. So up to now I have been embossing them. They will fit 6 cards and envelopes perfectly or gift tags and Christmas thank you cards.
And of course 15 Hershey's nuggets!!

I used the Serene Snowflake stamp set with my embossing buddy heavy on the embossing buddy, silver encore ink and silver EP. Some left over Baha Breeze ribbon and I used the NEW Exclusive Stampin' Up! Sizzix Two tags die cut for the tag and the Merry Christmas stamp from Holiday Best ( level one hostess set) and the medallion from Baroque Motiff.

I love these little boxes! Perfect for small gifts! The ribbon is from last fall I have hoarded two rolls and now its almost gone! It is my all time favorite. The embellishment is from the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit and the SU exclusive tag die cut again.

Super simple but irresistible wrapped Hershey bars in DP from Merry Moments

The tag is the other tag on the Sizzix Two tag die cut it is scored and folds up with a nice hole already in the top. I used Baroque Motiff flourish embossed in silver and then the sentiment stamp is from Winter Post also embossed in silver and punched out with our designer label punch.
Get the hint this Exclusive Stampin' UP! Two Tags Die is a must have!!

This is a shot of some of the various little projects I have created for my craft show.
