Altered Clear Block Box for Card Ensemble

I came up with this little ditty looking for something to make a gift for my demonstrator friend
Lyn Hepner that just moved to Daytona Florida from New York. Lyn is one of the most generous people I have ever met! That is why I love what I do! Stampin' Up! as a company just cultivates relationships between other demonstrators and our customers  that is so remarkable. they provide us with the highest quality products and training available. You can connect with someone via an SU  demo group, website, SU event around the country, Blogging, Face Book, Pinterest or email although you may have never even  met them and you can become instantly  acquainted through your love for crafting and Stampin' Up!!
So would you like to know how I did it? It is so easy!
Here you go!
When I ordered my clear block bundle I saved all the boxes and foam pieces that came inside of them
for an occasion just like this.- I knew I could alter them and make use of them.
(Clear Block bundle is on page 7 in the annual Catalog #118491-$69.95)
Now they have a starter kit  bundle for awesome savings- 129851 for only $19.95
But I certainly needed them all!

Cut a piece of DSP 7 1/4 x 8 giving yourself plenty of DSP
You may ask"why not just cut it the same size as the insert "F" that came in the box"?
You can do that but if it is just a tad off it will not be centered and I like mine coming down on the sides. Just a personal preference.
My philosophy is better to have more DSP than not enough!
So I closed the box which makes great cutting lines to trim off the excess DSP to frame the box giving it that lovely Primrose Petals background from the
Floral District Designer Series. #126919-$10.95 on pg. 163 of the annual catalog.
When you remove the box you have distinctive lines to follow to trim your DSP down.

Using your trimmer line it up and cut on the distinct  impressions that were made from the closed box
You will have the little points on the corner which you will take your paper snips and just round those out.
I adhered mine with sticky strip.

Punch a larger hole with your crop-a-dile at the top in the center for an added  twist of the delightful
Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon -pg. 172-$9.95 -#122977 for 15 yards it really last a long time!!
For a finishing touch I added a limeade in color brad.
