Visit to the Stampin' Up! Home Office!

If you love Stampin' Up! you will understand that I felt like a little kid in a candy store!
They have several rooms decorated with amazing ideas if your mind can absorb all that creativity at once. I will share more rooms with you on a later post. I like this picture because Established elegance is my favorite stamp set. I love the old time type writer. It is incredible how far technology has come since then.

We were able to visit the picking center where our SU orders are filled and we got a little deeper tour because the worker's were on a break. This is your little brown box filled with all your goodies on the conveyor going to the truck.

this is so cool a sticker with a bar code is put on your box with the packing slip coded into it as your box goes down the conveyor belt as shown in the pic below the staff fills the orders,

My heart started beating pretty fast when we walked down the aisle with all the products!

Here is where they pick your items and box them up. Then at the end before they are taped up they are weighed to make sure that each products weight is in the box, if it is not then it is sent to quality control and picked through by hand to make sure the correct items are in there.
I found it interesting to see how much work goes into getting us our products.

I was so delighted when my Demonstrator Business Development representative Gwen came down to meet my family and I. She was a wonderful DBD and helped me alot with my business.
She has moved to a different position in the company closer to the creative geniuses.

Vacationing in Utah

We arrived in Utah on Monday the 24th, after traveling all day and getting use to the time change, we ventured out today (Tuesday) for a little shopping and then a trip up the mountain from where our resort sits at the bottom.

Me & My girls!
It was cold burr... it was snowing very lightly where we were here but the further up we went the more snow had fallen

This beautiful picture was taken at Guardman's Pass in Deer Valley- Park City
I am so excited to be here, as a Stampin' Up! enthusiast to say the least, I have a trip planned to the SU home office in Riverton on Thursday, which is about an hour away.
I am so excited. I have envisioned what the home office is like for 5 yrs and now I am going to be able to check it out!!

Supplies:
Come to Bethlehem stamp set
Soft Suede, Espresso, Crumb Cake, Glossy CS and the Music wheel stamped in Versamark ink embossed with Pewter Embossing powder. Glossy CS Block Brayered, Silver Glitter glass & Vanilla seam binding

I have fallen head over heels for this Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper on pg.183
Can you tell??? The Stamp set is the Sounding Joy from the HMC.

Love the little twistee treats! I used the Doily builder punch, Mocha Morning DSP, Vanilla seam Binding and the NEW silver glitter paper! You definitely want to stock up on this Glitter paper I am finding myself using it on everything! It is a fabulous accent to add bling to any project.

side view= see the Textured embossing folder

Another Milk Carton box in Mocha Morning and the 1 3/4 inch scallop punch popped out the Glitter paper and sponged it with Espresso to give it that antique look with antique brads and the Crochet ribbon and the 1/8 inch Espresso taffeta ribbon. The sentiment is from
the Delightful Dozen stamp set!
It has everything you could want for a sentiment and a message for the inside of your cards

A beautiful ensemble for gift giving!

This card was made with the Stocking Die cut. I love the deep rich look with the antique vintage feel this gives. I embossed this one in pewter and the one below in gold. This stocking opens into a card. Visit one of my upcoming class for the trick to this technique.
The sentiments are from the Christmas Lodge stamp set in the HMC
