Rainy Day Creations

So have you noticed if your like me and our house when we refer to colors they are always in Stampin' Up terminology? Oh I saw the most beautiful Old Olive colored shirt today....LOL!

anyway, I was in Staples getting ink cartridges again!! I spotted them way across the aisle

the dry erase boards in Kiwi Kiss and Baha Breeze and the closer I got , YES! they were on CLEARANCE! $3.88. so today I was looking at them wondering what in the world I was going to do with them, I mean at that price and yes bcause they were Kiwi and Baha I had to have them.

anyone relate, like the dollar bin at Target. I have 8 totes of that kind if thinking.

Anyway, I had my rub-ons out and boy I started going to town. They glide on this surface like butter. No mistakes. I think they came out so cute. Great craft sale item. So go buy out your local Staples for $3.88 each and a package of Summer Love rub-ons you can't go wrong!

This is the Baha Breeze one, great for a Friend gift!

This is another one of the mix and match sentiment boxes.
Supplies:

Cardstock:Textured Saffron and Baha, WIP, DP

Textured is more durable and suggested for this project.

Accessories: Sizzix Oval Frame die, Chipboard, DP to cover it, white ep, embossing buddy , heat tool, All Holidays Stamp Set, and in color buttons

CS: Baha and WIP DP

Stamp Set: Central Park, Over AllAccessories: Eyelet border,Matchbox die cut label, medium oval punch,
Bottom of the box with various die cuts labels in matching colors from the matchbox die, stamped sentiments on whisper white cs to mix and match with a dimensional on top.

"Over All "Mix & Match Note Card Gift Boxes

Check out this cool Walk in the Park Box (yes I do own other DP)

However, I have like 4 packs of this! So I am trying to use it up!

Here are a few Note Cards samples made with colored cardstock.

Supplies:

CS: Walk in the Park DP and Basic Gray and whisper white

Accesories: Summer Love Rub-ons, eylet border punch, square scallop, dimensionals

Supplies:

CS: Cameo coral, WIP DP, Baha Breeze, whisper white

Accessories: Match Box die cut, scallop punch, summer love rub-ons, eyelet border punch
CS: Basic Gray, Whisper white, WIP DP

Accessories:Square Scallop punch, Eyelet border punch,Summer Love rub-ons
All of these cards will fit into this box and for an advanced card maker you can also add rub-ons to the kit so they embellish the cards a bit more.

This is an awesome gift for anyone. Below I have created a gift set you can mix and match the sentiments to fit whatever occasion. The box tutorial is from the new category on

the SU Demo website
Home > Show & Tell > Stamping Challenge Ideas. this is an awesome tool to find class planners with all the directions from beginning to end and also pictures! Great tool!

So yet another reason to take advantage of the

$75.00 scrapbook recruit promotion! Become a Serenity Stamper today!

I cased this one like the sample on the SU site but changed the DP, etc.

This is the bottom of the box it measures 8.5x8.5 and the top is 7.5x7.5
6 note cards/envelopes from page 157 in SU catty
Decorate with Designer paper, cardstock and then inside their box you put in several different pre-stamped sentiments and then they put a dimensionals on the back and stick it on! Boom their done, just lick the envelope and go! There is even enough room you could put a matching pentel pen with DP wrapped around the inside of the pen to make it coordinate and throw some postage in there as well.

Card samples of the basic layout.
You could use this one for a workshop and only do one project for

your experienced repeat hostesses and stampers! As a special treat!

It is affordable. Just mix and match your Designer papers keeping the same layout makes it super simple to pop these out. Also makes a great class or Stamp Camp project.

I would love to see your box!

A Gift Box of Cards for a Friend

This is the front cover of a gift box that fits up to 8 cards and envelopes.

This would also make an awesome card front! I love the Summer Love rub-ons!

That is what I love about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, on the SU demo website there is a new section where demonstrators post ideas for workshops and classes. I got some really great ideas on how to use these rub-ons. So if you are thinking about possibly taking advantage of the $75 new recruit promo there is just one more reason! You get access to so many sites with ideas and projects to keep you busy! It's cheaper than therapy and a whole lot more fun! that is my motto and I am stickin to it.

Supplies:
Card stock: Base: Baha Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Cameo Coral, Walk in the Park Dp, Very Vanilla

Accessories: Scallop edge punch, Summer Love rub-ons, texture plate on the coral, Latte buttons, dimensionals, eyelet border punch

This is the side view of the box.

A Challenge for you!!

The first person to email 3 card samples that would match this ensemble will win the tutorial to make this box! So get your mojo going and let me see what you have got!!
