My Nephew's Wedding!

A Wedding Scapbook tin, A Purse Gift Card Holder, A Wedding Card from February's card class.
Of course, I waited to the final moment to get these items sent out!
But, it's a funny thing I work better under the gun...happen to any of you. Once that burst of creativity starts flowing then I am on my way. I visited my gal pal Kay Sha's blog yesterday am and you won't believe what her post was? I was looking for a new gift card holder( I wasn't feeling the patterns I had) Yes, a wedding ensemble. She had the cutest purse pattern on there in a different motiff I changed it around a bit and I love the way it turned out!
check out Kay's design at http://creationsonpaper.blogspot.com/
The Bride and Groom Speciality Papers are for so much more than just weddings!
I played with my brayer a bit yesterday and Oh what fun to turn that beautiful white paper into whatever color you want with the recessed impressions on the paper. This is one of my Signature Design Scrap Book Tins in the Black and White Speciality paper
Top note on the front cut twice to make this shape and I just love this stamp for weddings embossed in silver ep and a filigree brad backed with dimensionals.
Join us for our Scrap book tin class on May 2nd! Or get your on the go kit and directions!
And make it on your own schedule! Check out the link on the right side of my blog for info on my kits to go!
Inside the tin you get 24 pages for pictures and journaling stored safely in a DVD tin.
It is a great gift for Showers, Weddings, Mother's Day, Father's day ....

This is the purse I made with the Bride & Groomsmen Black Speciality Papers.
Accessories: Simple Seriff Die cut letters, Hearts punch, Large Scallop die cut, Filigree brads, Black Organza ribbon I used the Top Note die cut and cut it twice with the Bride White Speciality Paper and I added a die cut adhesive from the Guest Book Simply Scrappin Kit,
The stamped "Together Forever" image
stamped with Versamark and black embossing powder heated up for that glossy shine popped out with the scallop oval punch placed on top of the Heart embosslit I put down to 2 hearts for a base. Then of course I had to use my butterfly die cut and butterfly embosslit (must have in your stash items)along with a half pearl from "The Pretties Kit"( another must have in your stash item.) Then you use sticky strip and a little black Velcro to hold it shut. The bottom note is where I put their Gift card.
I really hope they enjoy this gift. It came with alotta love and work.
That is what I love about handmade gifts people feel the love you put into them.

This card is very simple with an elegant feel to it.

Card Stock: Whisper White and Basic Black
Ink: Black
Accessories: Vintage Vogue wheel, eyelet border punch, black ink,
Well Scipted Words stamp set(OCM)
Black Satin ribbon, Butterfly die cut, half back pearl from the Pretties Kit
and I used my Scor-Pal to make the lines on the card base. Every 1/2 inch you just draw a line with your bone folder. Make your own embossed image!

This was the inside of the card- Black top note embossed with white craft ink and white embossing powder, make sure to use your embossing buddy ( a must have in your stash item) it removes the static electricity from your paper so you do not get those little flakes of embossing powder on your paper. Not pretty on black. This stamp is from the Together Forever stamp set.
