Mini Scrap Flag Card & Love Letters

Remember When.......wow this is the most perfect sentiment for me at this time in my life. when you turn 40ish you start reflecting on how you have spent the time in your life up to now. Then you look up and see one kid is getting ready to turn 18 the other is 9.
This stamp set WORD PLAY, really you can tell an entire story with it.
This is my keyword challenge for the week.
any one who can post a comment telling a story using the stamps in WORD PLAY stamp set
will be entered into a drawing and the best story receive BLOG CANDY! I will choose the winner on August 7th and post the winner!
Below is the inside of the card.
Love Letter DSP
This a version of the Mini flag card we did back at Mother's Day . So I tweaked it and turned it into a Mini Flag Scrap Card. I found this awesome picture I couldn't believe the colors in our shirts were the exact right color and the sizing of the picture was perfect. So I had to figure out how to make this into an oval. So I drew pencils marks around the outside of the encompassed area I wanted inside the oval die cut( the large oval) kept the picture face up and put it on the oval die positioning it just so I would get as much of the main focal point of the picture in their as I could. I think I did pretty good. I just nipped a tad of my DH's(Darling Husband talk in Blog land) head. But overall I am thrilled with this card.

Deb Brown and Sandra are relaxing making their cards washing away the weeks stress!

Sandra brought in her card for the challenge I sent out. We made these Movers and shakers oval magnet cards last week at class. I challenges everyone to go home and make their own version of the card and she did awesome even using a different magnet, the heart.
Great job, Sandra! It looks very elegant!

Her little heart floating up are from the 3 heart punch and the sentiment is from the NEW set "Just Believe"
