Snow Much Fun in a Beautiful Season

Snow Much Fun stamp set- yes it is...this set reminds me of the retired set Flaky Friends that was very popular when I first started with SU. I think it was my first Christmas set. But, I have to say I like this one better because it does not require masking so much
and you can create your own scenes and we love water coloring.
As for the card it is called the center step fold and you can find the directions
on SCS under resources.
Accessories:
Letter's to Santa DSP, Marina Mist,Black Stazon, Riding hood Red pinking scallop trimmed, and then at the bottom I used whisper white and the tearing technique to make the rolling hills with a little dazzling diamonds to top it off. I love the little rolling snowball at the bottom in the hills

This stamp set Beautiful Season is also very fun to water color. My stamping friends love to water color. I love watching the different color combo's they come up with.
I learn so much from them.
I cased this right out of the catalog. This year's catalog has the BEST samples EVER!!
The trick to this card is on the curly label corners. Cut 4 labels for the back panel (red in this card) and turn them long ways.Take the label punch and hold the CS in the corner of the punch so you can get just the corner as you see above. At first I was cutting them by hand, then I realized, a duh, just put them in the punch. I have found by making some silly mistakes is probably how most really cool techniques are born!

The envelope beside it is an Espresso Petite Pocket die cut with a cherry cobbler embossed flower from the NEW Hostess set Array of Sunshine with a whole punched through the middle and the cherry cobbler dotted scallop ribbon ran thru it to make a bow.
Inside is a gift tag in which you can put a gift card for Stampin' Up! products for Christmas!!

Hope you enjoy!!

Christmas in July

While visiting Linda one of the highlights was being able to get a look at some of her creations.
This is one of the cards she created at a local group gathering
and she shared it with me! Yippee!
I quickly made a template and came home and
had to try out an idea I had for a Christmas card.

Using the new Christmas DSP 'Letters to Santa" pg 186 #122349 $10.95
and a treat cup filled with sparkly bling. I also used the Quick Accents for letters to Santa
on pg 187 #122369- $9.95.
Stamp Sets: Open Sea ( for the earth) inside the treat cup surrounded by a die cut off the
NEW Pennant die, Delightful Dozen for the embossed sentiment, and Merry & Type hailed the "peace on earth stamp" with the decorative label punch behind it.

Yes, it folds flat and fits into an A2 envelope.
We will be making this card in one of my upcoming classes, so check out my class schedule

Hope you like it!

Getting Ready for the Red Hat Ladies!

I went back home this week and spent some time with my good friend Linda.
We had fun getting ready for her workshop with a group of Red Hat Ladies that will be visiting her craft table soon. We made this cute bonnet for them as a table candy favor using the empty SU embellishment containers, the large Sizzix scallop, Red Glitter paper, concord crush, and their logo on top. I think they turned out very cute. We wanted to share with them all the amazing ways you can use paper crafting to make favors for their functions.

Needless to say there are quite a few guests coming and we were pooped at the end of the night.

My buddy Linda is very talented and I always enjoy visiting her and getting my batteries creatively recharged!! She also has a super awesome craft room. So if you are ever in the Brandon/Tampa area look her up at

Thanks Linda for a great time.

I was visiting blog land as I often do for inspiration from other very talented SU demonstrators and this project came from Cindy Major and I fell in love with it!
So of course I had to try it right away.
I made one in the red glitter paper too!

Another Timeless Porait Keepsake

TOP VIEW:
Okay, I am super phyched that I saw this AWESOME milk carton die project on one of my favorite bloggers site- SHE ( Meg Loven) posted a picture she took at convention of one of the projects that was demonstrated on the main stage.

I am so grateful to the wonderful bloggers and SU business woman who devote so much time to sharing and inspiring others.
I have grown so much in this business by following their blogs and being inspired by their amazing talents. This has allowed me to springboard my creativity
and grow as a crafter & a creative coach!

I am thrilled that I was able to just look at the picture and figure it out.
I changes the DSP and sentiments and added my own bling! This matches my Timeless Treasures I posted earlier.

Timeless Portrait DSP- Extreme Elements stamp set- embossed with Black EP
(2) Cherry Cobbler milk carton die cuts
Square punch & Scalloped Square punch, jewelry tag punch
White twine, 1/8 black taffeta ribbon and Black brads & rhinestones on top of them
I will post directions after my class!
Give me a HOOT HOOT! if you like it!!
I see these for Christmas! Working on it
